I’m happy that we have something to bet on and all, but last night’s Steelers/Eagles Madden sim was an absolute gut punch. We had the Eagles -3 and they were down 27-31 late. The team managed to score a TD and all they needed to do was hold on for the push. Instead, they gave up a field goal to force overtime and then in overtime they gave up a TD pretty much right away to lose the game. So close to a push and then that happens.
We did get the win in esports as Cloud 9 got us the win in CS:GO. This was a come from behind win as Gen. G took the first game, but then Cloud 9 came back to take the last two and give us the victory. That was nice to see and keep us even on the night.

For those of you who are ready for the NBA to come back, we may be hearing something soon. Adam Silver set the date of May 1st as a day that nothing could be decided before. Well, that day is here now and the league is going to have to start making some tough decisions. ESPN’s Woj has a good story about what the latest plans are, Las Vegas, Disney World, and everything else. There is no good answer, but the NBA seems determined to crown a champion this season and you have to believe that something like this will happen sooner than later.

They have put up some good scoring numbers in many of their games and it’s been the pitching that has been the problem. While Dantos has struggled on offensive early and have the lowest scoring offense in the league.
Jinotega at Boer: This is a match-up of the best pitching team in the league this season and the worst. It’s only been six games, but Boer has only allowed 22 runs on the year while Jinotega have allowed 48 runs. Boer is a -230 favorite here, but I think with those numbers and Boer as a top-3 offense in the league – that it’s worth it to lay the runs here.

Dallas Cowboys at New Orleans Saints: This is a match-up of two strong offenses and the Saints are a good passing team with a faster pace. The total on this one is set high, but I think they can reach it. I am looking for like a 35-28 kind of game here.
