Ligue 1 in France is just about wrapped up with one more game to play. The top of the table is completely confirmed, but at the bottom of the table there could be some late drama.
The top of the table has PSG winning it of course. LOSC are 2nd place and taking that other Champions League spot. Lyon make it to the qualifying stages while St-Etienne are in the Europa League spot and can’t be caught.
Down at the bottom, Dijon FC and Guingamp are both in the relegation spot. Caen take up the relegation playoff spot however are 2 points behind Amiens SC and could get out of it with a win. Dijon meanwhile could win, and Caen could lose and then Caen would go down automatically so that’s huge.
Other than that we’ve got teams playing for pride and looking forward to getting the season over with, so they can go on their Summer holidays!
Caen vs Bordeaux Betting Tips:
As I said – Caen need to win. They lost a big game to Lyon last time out which hurt but there is no shame in that as Lyon are a quality team.
They go up against a Bordeaux team who are just running the season out. They’re safe from relegation but they’ve not won in awhile and they haven’t even scored in their last three games.
Caen know they need help but they just have to focus on doing what they’ve mostly been doing – winning. In their last 5 games they’ve managed to get 3 wins and 1 draw. Notably, they haven’t conceded in 3 of those games as their defence is stepping up.
Bordeaux meanwhile can’t score as mentioned.
It’s a crazy game for Caen. They have to win and possibly get out of relegation. But if they lose, they could be automatically relegated.
Paulo Sousa, who BTW is the third Bordeaux manager this season alone, seems to have admitted this season is gubbed and he is focusing on next season. I think we’re going to see a lot of changes from the team.
It’s possible Bordeaux go all out but I have faith in caen to keep up what they have been doing.

Double of the Day:
Dijon to win. I mean like I said above they need to win if they have any chance of escaping automatic relegation. Toulouse are safe from relegation and while there’s a good chance they play spoiler, I fancy Dijon at home. They’re recently got big wins over Strasbourg and rennes here.
PSG to win: PSG hit a few hickups but seem to have regained their form as they look to see the season out. Reims got that big win over Bordeaux away recently but have really struggled to score. If you can’t score goals you aren’t going to beat PSG.
