It’s Wednesday, and as is standard for Wednesdays we have spent our morning working on the golf betting tips for you all to enjoy.
Our last big win was just a couple of weeks ago with Lydia Ko in the LPGA. That was a hefty 13/2 double unit bet that paid off well when she took down the Swinging Skirts.
This week we will be analyzing the two tournament that are taking place – the Players Championship, and the Afr Asia Open. We’ll also have a quick look at the NHL and NBA action. Let’s get to it:
UK General Election Betting Tips:
First a quick note if you haven’t read it yet – be sure to get your places on the UK General Election. We have written up an excellent UK General Election Betting Tips article for you.
Golf Betting Tips:
First up in the Players Championship we’ve got three different bets for you.
The first one we are taking is Rory McIlroy to win. There is not any golfer in the world that is as good as him when it comes to being on-form, motivated and having the momentum. And that’s exactly what Rory has going for him at this time. All three of those factors – after his WGC Match Play win – come into play here, and we’re banking on Rory at 7/1 odds to take it down.
We’re also going to do two smaller bets. Paul Casey and Lee Westwood.
Both of them will be to win, but E/W so if they place in Top 5 we cash and will be quarter unit bets.
Casey has been quietly gaining form this season. He’s had some Top 5 finishes and also looked great in the Match Play. Casey is one of those golfers who at the moment just looks like he is better and better and we have to back him here.
We’re also going to take Lee Westwood as mentioned. He’s on form and has did very well at the Players Championship in the past. 40/1 is a huge price considering his abilities.
Quarter unit bets on both those two.
NHL Playoffs Betting Tips:
We are going to go with the two road teams tonight.
Take the Montreal Canadiens to win at 2.35 odds. It’s been a tight series despite what the scoreline was in the previous game. The Habs looked elite against the Senators and they know how to play. This is a massive game for them and it’s the perfect game for Price to show what he is made of.
Also go with New York Rangers. Capitals have a weird self-destructive button and we think they’ll hit that here. Rangers will tie this one up 2-2.
NBA Playoff Betting Tips:
We’ve got two games tonight. In the early one, we’re going to take Cavs -5.5. The Cavs were given a stiff wake up call in Game 1, and this is where LeBron is going to step up in Game 2. He’ll do it all by himself if he has to – but the Cavs will kill the Bulls momentum tonight.
We’ll also go with Clippers +7. We’re quite concerned about the Clippers and their fatigue – but that was a big win over the Rockets, and we don’t think the Rockets can quite bounce back like the Cavs will. They might win – but by less than 7.
