We got the win with the NBA 2K sim as the Shaq and Wade led Heat team dominatd. Shaq was the game’s top scorer and this one wasn’t even close. I liked betting this and the fact that the game was over in an hour, but I like it better when scores match the real life better. 74-56 is not a real life score. That said, I was glad to take the win here.
The loss came as Ground Zero really failed to show up as they only managed 5 in their match with Chiefs Esports Club. A dominating performance by the Chiefs here.
Tonight, let’s look to the world of professional wrestling with NXT and AEW. You can bet these at 888 (Americans try BetOnline). Hopefully we can get some more sportsbooks to start offering these as well since it’s some of the only live programming going on right now.
AEW Dynamite Betting Tips:
Three matches have been announced for the card tonight, but only one really sticks out.
Matt Hardy & Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara: This will be Matt Hardy’s in-ring debut for the company and the match is also taking place under street fight rules. While the odds here are based on the idea that this is Matt Hardy’s first match in the company and he should win, I’m not so sure about that. They are clearly building to something with Matt and Jericho down the road so I could see him taking the loss here. Plus, the street fight rules make interference from Jericho’s buddy in the Inner Circle perfectly legal. It feels to me like the Inner Circle team will get the win here to set up something for Double or Nothing.
NXT Betting Tips:
This has been built up as one of the bigger episodes in awhile with Adam Cole defending the NXT Men’s title against Velveteen Dream and then Charlotte Flair defending the NXT Women’s title against Io Sharai. Both of the champions are heavy favorites here and I see little reason to expect otherwise. Charlotte is one of the most protected wrestlers in the company and losing a basically meaningless match on a show with no TV seems silly at this time. While Adam Cole has done a great job as champion and I can’t see him losing to a guy who is steeped in controversy right now.
While neither of these wrestlers off great value on their own, you can bet that neither title will change hands tonight. The odds are:
- 1 or more title changes +140
- No title changes -200
I am all over that second line and will be betting that both wrestlers retain their titles here. This works better than doing a double or a parlay because they could still lose the match by DQ or countout. We are only betting on no title changes.

Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens: Two of the best offenses face off, but the game will have rain. That hasn’t stopped this one from having a huge total at 63.5 and I am really tempted to bet the under on that one. Rain has a way of making the ball slippery and a passing heavy team like KC could struggle. At least, it would in real life.
As it is, I am going to be going with the Ravens here. They have the more run-heavy attack which should favor them here and they are playing at home. The Ravens also have the higher rated defense which could bode them well in the rain.
