I’ll most likely cover the English Premier League tomorrow in the betting tips, but for today I wanted to focus on this weeks MLS action.
The MLS is entering the last quarter of the season with 9 games left. In terms of the playoffs, it’s still very open. In the Eastern Conference I wold say you could rull out Columbus and Cincinnati and that’s it so far.
In the West, Sporting KC, Colorado and Vancouver are looking out.
Let’s get on with the MLS Betting Tips:
New York Red Bulls vs New England Revolution Betting Tips:
Both these teams are currently doing well in the MLS East. The Red Bulls are on 37 points and the Revolution 34. This is their second game of the season with the Revolution notching up a 1-0 win last time out.
New England are on an excellent run at the moment and have pushed themselves up the standings. If they don’t lose today that will be 7 games without defeat away in a row. They are certainly performing better on the road.
Red Bulls are generally solid at home but have been a bit inconsistent over the last little while. I think the Revolution are a match for them.

Columbus vs Toronto FC Betting Tips:
I always like to bet on teams that are in “must win” games and at this stage of the season, that’s really what this one is.
Toronto are tied for the final playoff spot and so they know where they need to win. They go into this one against a Columbus team who have a 5 game unbeaten streak going, and are doing what they can to make the playoffs.
However I believe that Toronto are the better side and know they need to beat teams of this calibre. It’s a risky one as Toronto FC are a poor road team with 11 points in 1 games, but I think they have what it takes to see off Columbus.

Sporting KC vs San Jose Earthquakes Betting Tips:
It’s interesting how bets will stand out to me sometime. In this one it’s more about the media and the mood. Peter Vermes tried to get his team fired up before their clash with Orlando, saying that they aren’t giving up etc. They played okay but it wasn’t enough and they lost 1-0.
I think that’s going to hurt their confidence. The Earthquakes are 6th in the West right now and looking good for the playoffs, but a couple of slip ups including that brutal 2-1 loss to Colorado will have them hurting .
Not sure if Cristian Espinoza will be playing or not. He’s a big loss for sure. But I do think they’ll still be able to do it without him.
