Alrighty I am now back in Canada!
Apologies about a couple of missed days here and there while I was in Scotland. Unfortunately my wife got accustomed to the time zone change a lot faster this trip.
When I was there at Christmas she struggled with it the entire time and would sleep till noon each day. That meant I was able to get up nice and early, have a good Scottish breakfast and do all my work by the time she woke up.
Unfortunately this time she was up at about 8am with me and was raring to go, as were the kids. So it meant not a lot of computer time, and a lot of busy days instead.
Great trip though, including some time spent up north where I got to take the family on a Loch Ness cruise. That was fun. Also got to try a lot of craft beers made from breweries in those parts that were excellent.
Big game for Rangers today and I can already feel my heart beating hard ha. Always get so bloody nervous for us.
Going to cover this weekends MLS action with a lot of games taking place on Saturday and Sunday. Let’s get to it:
Columbus Crew vs Chicago Fire Betting Tips:
An interesting one between these two teams as the regular season is wrapping up. Both of these teams are struggling in the East right now but are still only a few points out of the playoff race so it’s a massive opportunity for both teams.
Columbus are coming in off that big win over Cincinnati and they will be hoping to keep it going. That was an excellent game and it was good ot see Columbus get the win. Chicago lost to New England as their away woes continued.
These two drew 2-2 at the SeatGeek back in July.
I think it’s just too hard to ignore Chicago Fire and their brutal away performances. 14 games with 10 losses. They have been putting in fighting performances and got their first away win a couple of weeks ago to Houston but I just rate Columbus that bit higher here and think they can get the win. Gyasi Zardes is on fire at the moment and I think he will bring that form into this game.

Montreal Impact vs DC United Betting Tips:
Montreal Impact know their playoff chances are razor thin right now. They’re in the playoff spot but with a host of teams below them including Toronto, who are tied on points and with two games in hand.
Montreal have been below .500 this season but they generally get it done at home and they’ll be hoping for a similar performance like they had against Vancovuer where they won 2-1.
DC United are a dumpster fire at the moment with a lot of struggles.
Wilmer Cabrera will be happy with that win over Vancovuer and will hope to keep it going. I think the coaching chance will have helped and they can get them functioning well here against a dysfunctional DC United.
