A 3-0 record last night.
The Jazz managed to even their series with a win last night, 124-105. We were on the over in this one and that came in thanks to the big night from the Jazz offense. Donovan Mitchell lead the way with 30 points and Jordan Clarkson added 26 off the bench.
We also got the win with the Celtics taking a 2-0 lead on the Sixers as this Philadelphia team just looks like they are ready for vacation. The Celtics won 128-101. They went down in the third quarter, but took the lead with a strong second quarter and just never looked back. Jayson Tatum had another strong performance with 33 points.
Our last win of the night was the over on Clippers/Mavericks. The Mavericks played great here as they came out 15-2 and then won the first three quarters before finally letting the Clips tie them in the fourth. Luka Doncic had another strong game with 28 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists while Porzingis added 23 points and 7 rebounds. The real story here was the terrible performance by Paul George who shot just 4-for-17 in this one.
The early game saw the Raptors take a 2-0 lead in their series.
Another full slate of games today, let’s keep this hot start going.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Houston Rockets Betting Tips:
The Rockets shot great in game one, but you have to think that the Thunder will make some adjustments here. Earlier this season the Thunder had won two out of three against this team and they are a very equal match-up. Game 1 was definitely one of the Jeff Green games too where he looks like an All-Star and one of the best players in the league. That experience never last long and you can often wake up with a hangover.
I expect the Thunder to come out better here and even this series.
Orlando Magic vs. Milwaukee Bucks Betting Tips:
The Bucks had a disastrous first game against the Magic who were playing without Aaron Gordon, Michael Carter-Williams, Mo Bamba, Jonathan Isaac and Al-Farouq Aminu. This had an actual positive effect on the Magic as they were able to fill the floor with shooters. Milwaukee’s offense was far from what it had been all season and the same can be said of the defense. Just a disaster all around.
I really don’t expect most of that to happen again here. I don’t see the Magic shooting 49% from the field and 39% from three again. I don’t know if the Bucks will miss ten free throws again, but I wouldn’t bet on it.
This team has real title aspirations and I expect this to be a proper wake-up call. That said, -13 is a lot of points to lay. I think the Bucks really fill it up from three today though and put up 120+ on their own. That would point to an over and that’s what I’ll be taking here.
Portland Trail Blazers vs. Los Angeles Lakers Betting Tips:
Dame Time, again?
I believe that the Lakers can come back to even this series here, but it won’t be easy and I think this game will come down to the wire. The Blazers are absolutely clicking right now while something is missing from the Lakers’ secret sauce. I believe the Blazers can absolutely steal this series as it has some real 2007 Mavericks/Warriors vibes to me. A smaller, three-point bombing team against a slower, veteran heavy team.
Everyone in the world is going to be on the Bucks and Lakers tonight. I’m taking the points.
