With the Rams losing yesterday and now having lost two straight, the Saints are suddenly in the driver’s seat for the top seed in the NFC. With a win here, they would take over the first seed in the NFC heading into the final two weeks of the season. This is a big one for them.
Of course, this is a big one for the Panthers at well. At 6-7 they are still in the playoff hunt, but a loss here would seemingly put them out. They would basically need to win out to do so and two of their final three games are against the Saints. Yikes.
Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints Betting Tips:
It may seem like the Panthers are still in this thing, but they’ve lost five straight and things aren’t going well. The last four games were all decided by seven points or less. That’s tough, but that’s life in the NFL. Here’s the thing about those losses though: those teams weren’t all that good. The Saints are really good. This one is pretty easy.
The Saints are currently the favorite to win the Super Bowl at Football Outsiders and they rank fourth in DVOA. This is a dominant team, they are a top-4 offense and top-13 defense. While the Panthers rank near the bottom in defense in the league. This is kind of an easy one for me. The Saints are going to put the Panthers to rest now.
NBA Betting Tips:
The Warriors have been looking much more like themselves since getting Steph Curry back into the lineup. While there is always some weird issues with this team, they are pretty unstoppable with Kevin Durant, Curry, and Klay Thompson on the floor. They play the Grizzlies at home tonight and for some reason the sportsbooks think the Grizzlies are going to force them to play their game. A healthy Warriors team always owns Memphis and I think they will put up a big number here tonight. The line of -13 is a bit too high for me, but I think this is an easy over.

One game that just doesn’t make any sense to me tonight is the Minnesota Timberwolves being big favorites over the Sacramento Kings. The Kings have been the upset special of the league all season and they have a better record than the Wolves on the year with a far better offense. Throw in that the Wolves have lost four straight and the Kings are a great bet at this number.
NHL Betting Tips:
Colorado is playing some great offense right now, but they are also allowing a lot of offense as well. Their last six games have seen multiple big overs with totals of: 10, 7, 10, 8, 7 and 9. The Islanders have also been playing some good hockey of late and this just feels like an easy over to me. The offenses are both going and the defenses aren’t stopping a ton of people either.
