As someone living in Canada my favourite day of the year is here – Thanksgiving in America!
While all you poor saps are eating turkey (hot take: worst food ever) and having to hang around with your family, I’ll be relaxing on my couch by myself watching all day NFL action with no interruptions!
Heck who knows maybe I’ll even order something from Uber Eats. Enjoy your dry ass turkey while I’m munching on a chorizo burrito.
We have three games on the board for today. Let’s look through them all:
Lions vs Bears:
God this one could be the turkey of football. Bears -3. They come in off a few tight losses lately. Lions come in off that draw against the Steelers, and the close loss to the Browns.
It’s a weird thing to say but man, Andy Dalton may be better for the Bears than Fields. I just think this is something better for the OC.
Goff is not fully healthy. Montgomery looked good for the Bears. The Lions however are making the right move with Swift by pushing him hard and he is doing incredible.
The effectiveness of Swift is a concern but I hope the Bears will be prepared for that now he has gone off the last couple of weeks. I’m fine with backing Bears -3 here.

(Advertisement but we have tested it out and have been quite impressed with it)
Cowboys vs Raiders:
I love the Cowboys this season – for the most part. They can still throw up some real stinkers. This line has moved and the Cowboys are an iffy -7.5 right now. Not a fan of that half point.
Cowboys come in off that tough Chiefs loss. They’ve won by more than a touchdown quite a few times this season. The wheels seem to be coming off the bus in Vegas right now. Although they have played two tough teams recently. Bengals last week was my play of the day.
When you look at the stats since Ruggs was a complete imbecile, then you can see the offense is just messed up. The Cowboys are missing Cooper and possibly Lamb but I saw Lamb was on track to play.
My concern is with Amari out, the Cowboys offense are missing a lot. Even when he isn’t being targeted he still adds so much to the squad.
If you’re looking for a play here, I’d back the Cowboys. But for me, it’s an entertainment bet only as I’ll be watching the game, as opposed to a serious bet.
Saints vs Bills:
Bills had another random disastrous game as they lost to the Colts. When that happened against the Jags, they bounced back strong.
The Saints lost to the Eagles and that Bucs victory is just a distant memory now.
Siemian had a couple of good games but man he is in trouble against the Bills.
On paper, Bills should win and cover the point spread. It’s possible they throw up a turd much like they did last week. It happens not just in the football but in sports as a whole. But I’m happy to take them to cover here.
Bills -6.5
