It’s Week 13 in the NFL and it’s a big week.
We’ve got the Battle of New York with the 6-5 Jets vs the 5-6 Giants in what should be a good one. The 9-2 Cards visit the 4-7 Rams.
Can the Vikings defeat the Seahawks and continue their playoff push? And holy crap – are the Bills REALLY 5-6-0? I can’t even think of 1 game they’ve won this season! I can’t believe they’re one win away from .500.
Patriots vs Eagles should be a bloodbath although the neuteured Patriots offense makes things interesting. As much as we’d love to bet on that one and take the Patriots -7.5 we feel that would be the wrong decision. Best to see how they play.
The Sunday night game is the Colts vs Steelers.

Vikings +2: Slightly concerned about the Vikings rush defense of late. But the Seahawks are that team that still haven’t been able to really show that they’re back to being the team of old. Obviously their pass rush is great but that’s not going to help too much against the Vikings. They will use Adrian Peterson often, and even when they don’t Bridgewater is very comfortable with running with the ball. As it is he’s always comfortable giving it to AP too and we like the Vikings to keep it going storng.
Ravens +3.5: Both these teams are fighting for the playoffs. If either loses here they are out. They Ravens are coming into this with insane momentum on their side after that Browns victory. It was a close game but things wlike the Urban FG block is just the sort of thing you need in a game to turn your season around.
Jaguars +2: The Jags beat the Titans a couple of weeks ago. That was a hell of a crappy game to be honest – Jags were off their game while the Titans…..well, they were the Titans. Jags came off that frustrating loss to the Chargers last week but they come out every week confident and looking solid. We just can’t see the Titans offense going toe to toe with them or tieing them down like the last time these two played, and we expect the Jaguars to pick up the road victory here.
Giants +2.5: The Giants come into this having barely lost to the Patriots, and losing to the Redskins in a game where they were off. Have to wonder how that Patriots game affected them mentally and we think they’ll be ready to get back on track here. They’re going up against a very inconsistent Jets team and they are going to be motivated. Jets at home I really like but on the road I haven’t been impressed with them lately. They just don’t seem to have the same sort of control as they do at home and I’m going to take Eli to stop the downward trend and pick up a huge W for the Giants today.
