It was a quiet night in the NHL with just three games but an interesting one.
Montreal continue to show a severe lack of fight and they lost to the Boston Bruins. What a disappointing team they are. They won’t be making the playoffs.
Calgary have a good chance of making the playoffs but a very tough loss to Los Angeles was quite the set back. Chicago are seeing their chances dwindle by the day. They put up 49 shots but could not beat Markstrom.
Thursday, February 13th will see a large amount of games. So let’s jump right in. I will give quick thoughts on each game although may not have bets for each.
NHL Bets: February 13th
Blue Jackets at Sabres: Buffalo are just a brutal team right now. The Jackets are a more interesting one. The have two losses in a row now and are missing Seth Jones. A big loss and they have a few other injuries. Eichel is coming off a goal and that may spur him on. However the price on the Jackets is too good to ignore. 2u on Jackets -105.
Stars at Leafs: Considering how complacent the Leafs are, it’s hard to back them. I am very tempted to back them here however as it just feels like the tough opposition where they will raise their game against. 1u on Leafs -135.
Red Wings at Devils: Devils are a team looking like they are having fun at the moment and are up for games. Happy to back them. 2u on Devils in Regulation.
Oilers at Lightning: With McDavid out, I like Tampa to continue their run. Lightning in regulation at -125 for 2u.
Flyers at Panthers: Both teams fighting hard at the moment and that usually results in goals. This one was a letdown on the 10th however but I like that to change. 1u on Over 6.5 at -110 including overtime.

Coyotes at Senators: Coyotes really need to win this one. However they have been brutal lately. I just can’t back them. I also can’t trust Ottawa. No bet.
Islanders at Predators: Not a bad price on the New York Islanders here. They are a quality team. 2u on Islanders +125.
Rangers at Wild: Big question marks over the New York Rangers and the future of Chris Kreider. Despite recent performances I cannot trust them here. He is helping them out though. I don’t think Shesterkin is in tonight and that affects things.
Capitals at Avalanche: This just seems like the type of game where the Capitals flex their muscle and bounce back. Especially to end a streak. 2u on Capitals +115.
Flames at Ducks: This is a very close game and nothing I like in this one. Too tight for me.
Blues at Knights: After the Bouwmeester situation I expect a fired up response from Blues tonight.
