Hi guys,
Welcome to another edition of NHL Quick Bets where I go through each game and give my thoughts. I don’t really dive into the advanced metrics as much for these write-ups unfortunately, although I do give them a glance (and am generally aware of where teams rank in the metrics).
Lotta Tuesday games let’s get to it:
Canadiens vs Kings:
He won’t be playing, but Carey Price is back and h ave to think that will be a mental boost to the Habs. Kings coming in after destroying the Leafs. Habs as favourites in this one is ludicrous. In saying that Kings probably roll with Petersen? I would take Over 5.5 Goals. Habs will be up for it but Kings should be good for some goals.
Bruins vs Sens:
Feel like Bruins will want to do some beating up after that Leafs loss. Bruins haven’t been that convincing this season but Sens have COVID outbreak, and I’m happy with Bruins -1.5.

Lightning vs Hurricanes:
No play here. Canes coming off their first loss who knows how they react. Tampa are playing better but not full on convincing.
Devils vs Panthers:
No bet. Almost feel like it’s a good spot for a Devils win but not worth it at this price.
Red Wings vs Oilers:
Wings are no pushover this season. They have had solid wins at home with only the one regulation loss to the Flames. No bet as I think they ride Oilers hard tonight. At +175 odds? I’ll probably throw something on the Wings to win here. Not fully confident but I think it’s got some slight value.
Jets vs Blues:
Blues I think get back on track here but after the Jets performance against the Sharks I’m currently not betting any games involving them.
Blackhawks vs Penguins:
Staying away.
Flames vs Sharks:
At 1.80 odds, probably okay to take the Flames in Regulation. Especially with Sharks missing so many players.
Knights vs Kraken:
Knights too hard to really figure out right now. I think they get the W here but not advising it.
Canucks vs Ducks:
Canucks got the big W at home. Ducks yet to prove themselves on the road. No bet at all here. I think Canucks take it but would have to be in regulation odds and not worth it.
