Was good to see Scotland get a much needed win over Cyprus. Especially considering we were probably the worse team! Very rare that we win those.
I won’t be tipping Euro 2020 today but will be watching it of course and making notes for the playoffs and the tournament itself. Can’t wait.
For Sunday November 17th I thought we’d take a trip to South America and check out Brazilian Serie A.
The season is coming to a close there. Only a few more games and it’s quite tight at the top and bottom.
Three teams look relegated but that final relegations pot is up for grabs between 4-5 different teams.
Let’s have a look at the games taking place and do some betting tips.
Bahia vs Palmeiras Betting Tips:
Palmeirs are 2nd in Serie A. No chance of catching up on Flamengo really but they’re still putting in the performances. They come into this one on the back of an impressive 8 match unbeaten streak.
Bahia meanwhile are struggling and stumbling and have a 6 match run going without a win. That’s seen them drop all the way to 9th.
I think Bahia are a team that have just completely lost all confidence looking at their recent performances. They’re in danger of not even making it to the Copa Sudamericana Group Stage.
They’re a tough competitor at home however. And I am not sure if Palmeiras has what it will take to beat them.
I think this one ends in the teams splitting the points.

Gremio vs Flamengo Betting Tips:
This should be a good game.
Flamengo look like they’re going to end the season top of the league. Palmeiras can still mathematically beat them but I’m just not seeing it.
Flamengo are coming off that thriller against Vasco da Gama. That one ended 4-4 with Vasco da Gama tieing it up in injury time. Hell of a game.
Flamengo are just an incredible clinical team right now and their goal scoring is excellent. Gremio have some solid defensive performances going into this game however I don’t think they have what it takes to stop the firepower of Flamengo.
However they may not have to. They’re the 2nd best offensive team in the league and can give as good as they get. They’re also coming in on form.
Gremio have a whopping 5 wins in a row coming into this one while Flamengo obviously have went an incredible 20 matches without losing. Somethings gotta give.
The draw is a strong possibility here however I think this game will have goals. Flamengo are on a roll while Gremio will want to both stop the streak, and also cement their place in the Top 4 knowing Sao Paulo are breathing down their necks.
