That England vs Croatia game was quite the bloody rollercoaster.
I said in the tips that I went into that one ready to tip Croatia or Draw. But when I looked into it I just felt that England would be the victor in that game. Well man I was feeling sick after the hour mark in that one. England really should have been 4 up but instead they were 1-0 down to the Croats and it wasn’t looking good. Luckily they were able to turn things around and pull off a 2-1 victory.
That was a 1u play. We had Belgium to win for 0.5u but that didn’t pan out with a big surprising performance from the Swiss. Props to them for that.
We’ll continue UEFA Nations League action for the next couple of days due to it wrapping up soon. International football is one of those things that I much prefer betting on too – gets me into it that much more.
Let’s get to it:
Georgia vs Kazakhstan Betting Tips:
This is one of those tricky ones where you have to hope that quality wins out, but there isn’t anything to play for.
Georgia have already won Group 1 and have did it in spectacular fashion with 4 wins out of five and a draw. They only conceded one goal along the way. They’re at home to Kazakhstan who they beat 2-0 in the first game between the two sides.
They’ve already promoted so you have to wonder about motivation. Despite that, Georgia are just a much better side. In saying that they stumbled to a 1-1 draw with Andorra on Thursday. They were the better team there by far but with 81% possession really didn’t do much with it.
I’ve got to think that even though Georgia really don’t have much to play for – Kazakhstan don’t either. So both teams playing for pride more than anything and the quality of Georgia will win out.
Bulgaria vs Slovenia Betting Tips:
What a big disappointment Slovenia have been. A lot of people expected them to compete and instead they are relegated. Absolutely brutal.
They have found their form lately after 3 defeats in a row to at least hold Cyprus and Norway to draws however I think they will be completely demoralized here. Bulgaria visited here earlier in the tournament and beat them 2-1 and with promotion still a chance for the Bulgarians, I’ve got to think we see maximum effort from them here.
They use a solid tactic of 3-4-2-1 which I like as they seem to have worked out how to use it effectively and I think Slovenia will struggle with it.
Not sure if it will be enough to gain promotion but I’m backing Bulgaria to get the win.
