1-0 last night.

A nice win yesterday as we took the Clippers over the Spurs. This was an interesting pick as it was a “schedule hell” game for the Clippers as it was the third game in four nights, but thanks to the Clips resting Kawhi Leonard the night before – it actually became a great pick.

Kawhi did not disappoint in this game against his former team either. He finished with 38 points and 12 rebounds. After two straight losses, the Clippers once again look like one of the best teams in the NBA and they still are yet to see a single minute of action from Paul George.

Most teams have played at least four games at this point and we are getting into adjustment territory. The Nuggets lost last night and got called out by their coach, that’s adjustment time. The next time the Nuggets play, I’m all over them. That’s who we’re looking for right now, let’s see who we can find.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Orlando Magic Betting Tips:

Milwaukee is a team that I think needs an adjustment. They are 2-2 on the season, but those two losses have been straight up embarrassing. Those games have seen them blow leads of 16 or more. This team should be 4-0 on the season and they know it.

This is a great match-up to do it too as the Magic are currently 30th in scoring and right near the bottom in three-pointers as well. The Bucks love the three-ball and will shoot a ton of them here. I think the Magic will have a hard time keeping up with that and, just like everyone else, a hard time stopping Giannis Antetokounmpo. I also like Eric Bledsoe to have a good game here as the point guards on Orlando simply can’t match his athleticism. Bucks are going to win big tonight.

Houston Rockets vs. Brooklyn Nets Betting Tips:

Another adjustment I am looking at tonight is, well, both of these team’s defenses. These teams have been bleeding points early and this total is set ridiculously high. 244 points is a ton in this league, but it’s set that high for a reason.

The Rockets are coming off a 159-158 game. While the Nets played a 133-134 game a few days ago. Those are huge numbers and an over is probably going to be a popular play here.

That being said, I can’t see the coaches of either team being happy about their performances. Brooklyn already saw the team play a bit better against Indiana and you have to think they will be up for this game against James Harden, Russell Westbrook and the Houston Rockets.

Beyond that, while Houston plays at a fast pace with a lot of threes, there are still a smart team on defense. I think they know that the best way to win this one is to get Kyrie Irving into hero ball mode and that doesn’t lead to a huge scoring game. That leads to hero ball, one on one, and not a lot of opening three point attempts.

I think this total is set way too high. Take the under.
