What a crazy game in the NFL last night. We had the over in the Rams and Chiefs game, but we weren’t expecting that. A 54-51 game that went down to the wire with the Rams winning by the exact amount they were favored by. That was just crazy and I am all-in on the NFL’s future if that’s what we have to look forward to. I’ll take touchdowns over concussions any day of the week.
Another great game was in the NBA as the Hornets beat the Celtics 117-112. Kemba Walker was coming off of a 60-point game and followed it up with 43 to beat the Celtics. Boston is in desperate need of a shake-up right now as things just aren’t clicking for them. This should still end up being one of the best teams in the league, but I’d like for them to show it at some point.
The Bucks once again fell down huge at the half and made a big comeback in the second half. The score was 56-46 at the half, but they came out strong in the second half and dominated 58-42. This team is winning by the biggest margins in the NBA right now and they are scary every single night.
College Basketball Betting Tips:
Duke has started this season better than anyone could’ve expected. They have the awesome core of Cam Reddish, Zion Williamson, and RJ Barrett that have been better than imagined and they are winning games by an average of 30 points this season. That is impressive, especially when you consider they have a game against Kentucky this season.
They play Auburn tonight at home and while Auburn is the #8 team, I don’t think they are at Duke’s level. The way they handled Kentucky is the way they should handle Auburn here and I’m expecting a big home win.
NHL Betting Tips:
The Oilers have the best player on the planet, but he is not a goaltender and that is an area of weakness for them right now. This team feels like they are turning on their coach and I just don’t have a ton of faith in them right now. The Sharks are 2nd in the NHL in shots on goal which should get them in a good position to win this game. The outright moneyline isn’t great, but the 3-way line is great.

NBA Betting Tips:
The Raptors have the best record in the NBA, but there are people out there that are worried about them because they’ve lost three out of their past four games. I am not buying it. One of those losses was the really emotional game against the Raptors and their former coach that came down to the final shot and another was against the good version of the Celtics. They play the Magic on the road tonight and while Orlando has been an impressive team to start the season, they aren’t on the Raps level.
The weirdest line of the night has to be the Wizards -1 against the Clippers. The story came out that the Wizards are open for business and this team has a lot of drama right now. Meanwhile, LA has been one of the more consistent teams in the NBA as they are playing hard every night and they have the second best record in the West right now. Why are the Wiz favored again?
The Blazers are another team that I like. Today, Zach Lowe did a great write-up of how they rebuilt themselves and I am on board for this. They play the Knicks on the road tonight and it’s hard not to be excited about the Blazers starters here. The Knicks are giving heavy minutes to their rookies and there is no one on this team that can guard Damian Lillard.
