A 2-0 night last night.
A very nice night of betting last night to finish off a profitable weekend.
We took the Kings over the Knicks last night and this one was over before it started. The Kings got out to a 32-23 in the first quarter and extended it to 61-41 by the half and they never looked back. De’Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield combined for 46 points and the Kings rolled. Their early season woes may have had more to do with the India trip than anything.
We also took the Mavericks and Cavaliers to go over the total and boy did they. The total on this one was set at 215 and the final score saw the Mavs win 131-111. We knew the Mavs would push the pace and that’s exactly what they did. Luka Doncic put up on the best stat lines of the season with 29 points, 14 rebounds and 15 assists in just 34 minutes. That guy is something special.
We start a new week tonight, let’s keep the success from the weekend going.
Houston Rockets vs. Memphis Grizzlies Betting Tips:
The Rockets can’t be too happy with their 3-2 start. Their loss against the Bucks saw them blow a huge lead late and they also recently lost on the road to the Nets in a winnable match-up. This team could easily be undefeated right now, but here they sit.
Houston should be well-rested here as this is their first game in three days. The James Harden and Russell Westbrook experiment will have some growing pains, but tonight’s match-up should be a great chance to try some things and really air it all out. They face a Grizzlies team that has been getting outscored by 13 per game and is expected to be one of the worst teams in the league this season.
The fact that this game is not in the double digits for a betting line surprises me, but I am all over it as I expect the Rockets to absolutely dominate this one. They should win by 10+.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Betting Tips:
I hate to go two games with road teams laying big points, but it’s just too hard to resist here. The Bucks really got back on track in their last couple of game against the Magic and the Raptors. I expect them to bring that energy into Minnesota. The Wolves will be playing without Karl-Anthony Towns who is still suspended and that should allow Giannis Antetokounmpo to run wild in this one.
It’s a small sample, but the Wolves have allowed teams to shoot 39.6% from three on the season. The Bucks love shooting the three more than almost any team in this league and they will be letting it fly here. If the Wolves can’t defend that, it could get ugly and without Towns they will struggle to keep up on the offensive end.
The Wolves are coming off a nice win without Towns against Washington, but that’s the Wizards. This is the team that finished with the best record in the East last year. That’s a big difference and I am expecting a Bucks cover here.
