A 2-1 day with the Serie A tips yesterday.
I predicted Lazio would bounce back from that Inter result and they did so. It was nice to see a dominating 4-1 performance from Lazio and they looked hungry for more. Ciro Immobile grabbed a double in that one.
I backed Chievos misery to continue with Sassuolo beating them and that one came in at 2.10 odds. Chievo got a man sent off as well.
I lost with my Parma prediction to win as they drew 0-0 with Frosinone. Parma saw Stulac get sent off. I said that they struggle to score and despite the defensive frailties of Frosinone, Parma managed a whopping 1 shot on target.
Had fun tipping and studying Serie A. Might start making that my focus every Sunday.
Tuesday, November 4th sees the return of the UEFA Champions League so lets get a couple of tips going off that one.
Atletico Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund Betting Tips:
Borussia Dortmund top the group and have qualified regardless of what happens. They have 3 wins out of 3 and 8 goals scored with none conceded.
Atletico Madrid have practically qualified. Only an utter disaster such as three losses in a row (with Brugge or Monaco beating Dortmund too) would see them go out.
So I don’t think they’ll be too concerned about this game and the result. They got thumped by Dortmund 4-0 last time and I think they will be wary. Even though they are at home I think they will have to be concerned. Dortmund have been putting in very professional performances build on a solid defense and I like that to continue here.
I just think Dortmund are the better team and Madrid will be happy with a point.

Double Of The Day:
Porto to win: Porto handled Lokomotiv Moscow away 3-1 and top the group with a 2-1-0 record. They know how tough Schalke are so will be more focused on this one knowing that victory will see them in the next round no matter what. Lokomotiv have practically no hope and I just see Porto running riot. However in saying that we’ve seen tight defensive performances from them so I’d rather thrown them in a double.
Schalke to Win: Galatasary battled well against Schalke whose domestic form hasn’t been the greatest but at home here I like them to get the win.
Schalke are coming in off a solid win over Hannover and they have to be confident. They were all over Galatasaray in the first game with 17 shots to their 7 and it was a solid goalkeeping performance that kept the Germans out.
I can’t see that lasting however and will throw both of these in a double for 3u.
