It’s Saturday – Super, Super Saturday and that means it is time for English Premier League(and other) soccer.
Boy I’ve missed it. It was only one week due to the international break but it feels like forever. International football is just not the same ya know? We’re based in Canada and there’s nothing better than waking up early, getting a breakfast in then sitting down watching hours and hours of soccer.
We got off to a GREAT start yesterday when we tipped Hamilton to beat Aberdeen. That was a nice easy win of 3-0 for the Accies and we knew they had it in them. Great result.

English Championship: Birmingham vs Bolton Betting Tips
We’re going to go with a bit of “new manager syndrome” here and hope Neil Lennon has what it takes to steer Bolotn to an important win over fellow relegation rivals Birmingham.
12/5 is the price – a good one.
Lennon has been out in the wilderness since leaving Celtic, and you know he will be doing everything he can here to get the result. He’s a solid manager, and you can see he is really working at rebuilding the team chemistry.

SPL: Dundee Utd vs Partick Thistle Betting Tips
It’s razor thin – but there is JUST value in Dundee Utd here to beat Partick Thistle.
Dundee Utd are 7/10 and that’s just worth the bet.
Thistle are currently 7th in the league and their only big win was over Inverness Caley. Otherwise it’s all teams lower than them including the bottom 3 – Ross County, St Mirren and Motherwell.
They’re going up against a Dundee Utd team who are battling for the title this year while Celtic continue to struggle. Dundee Utd had a bad, bad result last time out against Kilmarnock, losing 2-0 but we expect them to bounce back, and a much better performance.
Utd are unbeaten at home this season. They don’t have a 100% record but that was due to a 2-2 draw against Hamilton. Dundee Utd were very unlucky in that one, and the Accies look very, very solid.
EPL: Newcastle vs Leicester Betting Tips
Newcastle are a disaster at the moment – which is good for us, because we’re getting good betting odds on them being Leicester.
They’ve had the international break to fully recover, and they’re going against a Leicester side who have slumped to Palace and Burnley in their last 2 EPL games – Burnley was a draw, Palace a loss.
Newcastle aren’t looking good, but to be fair they have fought very well this season. They’ve came close in a lot of games and drew 2-2 away to a superior Swansea side.
We’re going to back Pardew to get things back on track – at least for this game. If he was going to be sacked, it would be during the international break. The chairman has shown he has faith in Pardew and that will be a relief.
Let’s go with the Magpies at a great price of 6/5.
