Welcome to the soccer tips for Thursday, October 18th.
First of all my biggest apologies for no tips the past couple of days. I’d mentioned that I was going to Dallas for the week and I was hoping to still be able to do tips.
I was able to do that the first couple of days but then time just got the better of me. Then work piled up and of course it doesn’t help that the NHL is in full swing and that when I came back I had to catch up on the NHL and all the other hockey leagues.
Oh and then we have the NBA and I provide NBA tips at NBATips.net so yeah – had to get prepared for that ha. All in all just a hell of a busy little week.
I really picked the wrong time to go on vacation! I know it sounds awful to say this but spending 6-8 hours for the past 3 days watching and reading about sports has been hell! Okay maybe not hell but it’s been a busy couple of days for sure.
With that said let’s get onto the soccer betting tips for Thursday, October 18th and I apologize again about no tips for a few days. No more trips planned until the UK at Christmas time so hopefully no more interruptions until then!
Real Salt Lake vs New England Revolution Betting Tips:
The New England Revolution have nothing to play for as they can’t make the MLS Cup Playoffs. Real Salt Lake are currently just one point above the playoff line as of this writing.
It’s incredible tight in the Western Conference and Real Salt Lake need this one badly. They lost a big one to Portland last time out and that’s going to be fresh in their mind. Hopefully it doesn’t demoralize them.
Real Salt Lake come into this one STRUGGLING with no wins in their last 4 performances but I’ve got to back them here. They’re the better team, they’re excellent at home and they should take this one. I’ll be very, very disappointed if they don’t. I liked what Petke said about how they’re going to see what they’re made of now – this is a team that surely comes out to prove they belong in the playoffs.

Finally a 0.5u play on the Colombia Primera A.
Millonarios vs Itagui Leones BTTS: Risky one but I’m going with both teams to score at 2.50 odds. I was tempted for 2.42 for the over 2.5 but this one I think has a better chance. Milonarios offensively are good and are a true goal a game type of team. Itagui aren’t the best offensively but both teams have weak defenses. I just think both teams get the goals here and this could be a 1-1 type of game.
