2-0 in NBA last night. A great start to the year with the Bucks showing up big and the Warriors doing just what we thought they would.
0-2 in MLB last night. It was kind of emblematic of the way these playoffs have gone for me. The Dodgers didn’t win the F5 bet, but won outright. The Astros/Red Sox didn’t go over in F5, but did for the game. I would make those picks again, especially that Astros/Red Sox F5 over as they had plenty of scoring chances early. They just didn’t come in.
Chicago Bulls at Detroit Pistons Betting Tips:
The Bulls have made a lot of moves to improve themselves over the past year and they should start see the fruits of that labor here. The big question is their defense which looked solid in the preseason, but is very questionable overall.
It should be easy for them to look good here though because the Pistons are a team that are clearly in the bottom rung of the league.

Boston Celtics at New York Knicks Betting Tips:
The Knicks are on the rise and MSG should be absolutely rocking for this one. These fans have been waiting for a long time for a decent team and they will be very appreciative of them tonight.
Boston is in a state of flux right now with a new coach and a changed roster so I have my doubts how they start the season. Jaylen Brown is listed as questionable here and he is a huge part of their offense.

Philadelphia 76ers at New Orleans Pelicans Betting Tips:
I’m sure people have their doubts about the 76ers without all the drama, but even without Ben Simmons they should still have an outstanding defense this year. Joel Embiid is probably relishing this moment of being the absolute guy in Philly and he should show up big this year.
The Pelicans will be without Zion and I don’t see them doing much to compete in games they play without him.

Every game in this series has gone over the posted total and I don’t see that changing here.
These two pitchers started game two and while I consider them both to be very good pitchers, they only made it 2.2 innings each and both allowed 5+ hits. These offenses are just clicking and I think that continues here.

Atlanta Braves at Los Angeles Dodgers Betting Tips:
If the Braves had pulled it off last night, they could’ve won the series. Since they lost, I think it may be over. That’s how good the Dodgers are.
Julio Urias was the team’s best pitcher in the first round and I am looking for that guy to show up here. I’ve said it before, but the Braves offense is mostly just an average one.
I hate laying the -1.5 here, but it is the only real value. The Dodgers offense is yet to have a real big one in this series and I can see tonight being the night.
