1-1 in MLB. Julio Urias simply didn’t have it last night and the Dodgers offense was never able to make up for it. The Braves are now just one win away from the World Series with three chances to get it.
Atlanta Braves at Los Angeles Dodgers Betting Tips:
No starters announced for the Dodgers just yet, but at this point I don’t think it is going to matter. This is an all hands on deck situation for both teams and whoever starts will have a quick hook if they get into trouble.
Max Fried goes for the Braves and he had a solid start in game one, going six innings and allowing two runs. If he can do that again, his team is going to the World Series.
I think the Dodgers will be able to exploit the bullpen game well and keep the scoring low. I want to pick them to win, but not at -150 and they’ve mostly been snake bitten in this series.
I’m going with the under here. This is tighten up time for both teams.

Dallas Mavericks at Atlanta Hawks Betting Tips:
The Mavericks made a coaching change this offseason and I think it is going to prove disastrous. Jason Kidd was a great point guard, but everything I’ve seen about his coaching proves a guy that just doesn’t get it and thinks he can just bully his way to success. That’s not how it works in the NBA. He also has said that he wants less threes and more focus on the mid-range and that’s really not how the NBA works.
Even throwing all that out, this is a team going through change and that can always be a tough start to the season. While the Hawks should be riding high after an Eastern Conference Finals appearance. They are the more cohesive unit right now and I think they show out for the hometown fans.
Beware Luka Doncic, but I like the Hawks to win this one easily.

Milwaukee Bucks at Miami Heat Betting Tips:
Why isn’t this game on national TV and the one above is? That’s crazy. The disrespect for the champions is ridiculous, but you have to think they are aware of it.
I said this on opening night, but I’m really high on the Bucks this regular season. I am looking at a high win total for this team as they really show the world that they were deserving NBA champions. Their game against the Nets was a rather easy win. Why should we expect different against Miami?
The Heat are loaded, but they are trying to work Kyle Lowry into what they do. Point guard is the most important position on the court and adding him to the mix could cause some growing pains. Not many, but enough to cause problems against a cohesive team like the Bucks.
