Welcome to the return of NBA Tips for the 2019/2020 season.
I should give you a quick heads up – there is a possibility we won’t be doing NBA Tips here at NBATips.net for the entire season.
We may end up merging with another website and posting the tips there instead.
However none of that is confirmed yet and if it is we’ll be sure to give you notice so don’t worry about that.
In the meantime let’s just focus on the new NBA season.
It kicks off tonight with two games. The NBA Champions, the Toronto Raptors, will host the New Orleans Pelicans. And then we’ve got the Battle of Los Angeles as the LA Clippers host the LA Lakers.
The Raptors are 7 point favourites while the Lakers are 3 point favourites.
Let’s get on with the NBA Tips for October 22nd, 2019:
Raptors vs Pelicans Betting Tips:
The Raptors will of course be without Kawhi Leonard however the New Orleans Pelicans of course don’t have Anthony Davis or Zion Williamson.
The Raptors come into this one with a big boost in that Pascal Siakam signed a 4 year extension.
At the end of the day I think it’s the Raptors chemistry that will see them take this game. They all know how to work with each other and they are going to be up for this one. The Pelicans will be sad that Zion is out and they just don’t have the chemistry.
Raptors -7 is the play.
Lakers vs Clippers Betting Tips:
This should be an interesting game. I often skip the West Coast games and watch the highlights the next day as I live on the East but you better believe I am staying up for this one.
The Clippers of course picked up Paul George and Kawhi Leonard and they are looking pretty stacked. However they will be without Paul George.
The Lakers of course have Anthony Davis and with him and LeBron and Kuzma they are seriously stacked. Kuzma won’t be in either though.
While there may be adjustments needed offensively I think this has the potential to go over with both teams desperate to start the season off right.
