A 2-1 record on Tuesday in the NBA.
I really thought it was going to be a 3-0 night with the Nuggets playing the Jazz close in the second half. Ultimately, an injury to Nikola Jokic proved too fatal for them and the Jazz ran away with it in the fourth.
Still, a great record to start the season as we are now 8-2 in NBA picks this season. Let’s try and keep the good times going today.

These teams always manage to play some high scoring games against each other and I think they will again tonight. Four of the last five games these two teams have played have seen scores north of 230. This is the kind of game I can see Bradley Beal and Trae Young just having a scoring duel which always leads to some fun games.
Both teams are 3-1 to start the season, but I don’t think there is any argument that the Hawks are the much better team. If the Wizards are going to win, they need to get the score high.

New York Knicks at Chicago Bulls Betting Tips:
This is the first time the Bulls have started 4-0 since the 1996-97 season. That team had Michael Jordan on it and would go on to the win the championship so this is a pretty big deal.
That said, their match-ups have been pretty easy to start as they’ve faced either bad teams or teams missing key players. This game will be something completely different.
I think the Knicks can end the streak tonight. Zach LaVine is dealing with a thumb injury and I think there is just some perfect poetry to Tom Thibodeau ending this streak.

Memphis Grizzlies at Golden State Warriors Betting Tips:
The Grizzlies are a team that I like a lot, but there is just something missing from them early. To be fair, they are on a killer west coast road trip to start the season. They are coming off a complete second half collapse against the Trail Blazers and this will be the fourth and final game of the road trip. I don’t see it ending well.
The Warriors are 4-0 to start the season and their improved bench has been a huge part of that. I like their bench unit a lot more than the Grizz bench and I think that can be the difference. The Warriors at home are usually a good pick as well as Steph often does his best work in the Bay.
