What an exciting return for the NBA.
The Spurs managed to squeak a win by 1 point in a thriller, but more importantly was Anthony Davis. He came so close to a triple double, but he racked up 26 points, 17 rebounds, 9 blocks and 3 steals. A feat like that has happened only 4 times prior in the NBA – all by Olajhuwon.
Lot of fun NHL action last night as well – holy crap was there a lot of goals. Unfortunately while our Away Goals +3.5 looked good and would have won – the Penguins ruined that by blowing the Devils away 8-3. If not for that one, we would have squeaked the win so that was very disappointing. Lightning scoring all those goals against the Coyotes also didn’t help matters.
It’s Wednesday, October 29th 2014 which means it’s time for the golf betting tips. We’ll also have some NHL and NBA action today so let’s get to it.
Golf Betting Tips:
In the BMW Masters our golf experts have three picks.
The first is Mark Foster. He is a whopping 90/1 which is a great price considering his form. It’s a surprise to see him so high and with it being a limited field – there’s a possibility he could surprise us all and get the top 5 finish we crave.
The second is Tommy Fleetwood. Fleetwood is a hot price of 30/1 that we can’t ignore – he’s familiar with this course, and has been on great form and 30/1 is a steal.
Finally we’re going with Joost Luiten who won the ISPS Handas Wales Open not too long ago – a golf tip that we tipped, for a great 12/1 cash for us.
Then we have the CIMB Classic. One golfer we’ve been watching is Hideki Matsuyama and we’re now ready to pull the trigger on him. He’s only the 3rd favourite at 14/1, tied with Schwartzel. We’re getting better odds thanks to Garcias participation – his 9/1 price pushes Matsuyama up.

NHL: Oilers vs Predators Betting Tips
Oilers are on a hot run and we love a hot team. Of course in classic Oilers fashion – the fans are getting all excited, so they’ll probably get their clocks cleaned.
Either way – they’re on a roll at the moment and at +100 against a Predators team that are really untested on the road – we’re going to have to roll with the Oilers to continue this sick run.
NBA: Hawks vs Raptors Betting Tips
Early in the season you want to bet against the teams that are over valued – and the one that really stands out for us is the Toronto Raptors.
The Raptors are insanely hyped this year – they’re -120 to win their division which is just crazy. We wouldn’t bet that with stolen money.
We do love the Raptors. But our only real concern with the Hawks is the depth they have – other than that you have better rebounders which could be huge in this game. Raptors go through DeRozan a lot and this Hawks D is set up perfectly to hold him down.
This should be a tight one and in a tight one, we love +4.5.
