It’s Wednesday here at SportsBettingTips.org and Wednesday all around the world. Well except in Australia I think. But they’re all weirdos down there.
It’s a big, big week in the golf and we’re all hyped for it here as we’ve got another major coming up.
This week The Open Championship 2017 takes place.
I’ll also be covering the CFL this as week as well.
I’ve been on a nice run with the golf lately. Its been a good July. We had the Jon Rahm winner two weeks ago at the irish Open and I followed that up with the 80/1 Ryan Fox cashing last week. Unfortunately dead heat hurt the return on that one.
Here’s the betting slip:
Alright so The Open Championship 2017 is this week and I’ve got 5 people I want to bet on.
The Open Championship Bets:
I’ve got two full unit bets where I take a full unit and split it on them to win and E/W.
The two picks are Matt Kuchar and Rickie Fowler.
They tick everything I’m looking for – in form, and have good Majors history. Both of them have shown they can handle the Majors. We actually had Rickie Fowler at the US Open – remember that disaster of a final day? – and we’ll back him to grow from that and really turn it on here.
I’ve then got 3 smaller bets all of which are a quarter unit to win and E/W.
The first one is Tommy Fleetwood. Honestly I absolutely hate betting him due to the price of 20/1. It’s a brutal price and I really don’t like it. But he does tick all the boxes like the two above and I’d be sick if I didn’t have a little on him.
I’m also on Padraig Harrington. Multiple time winner and he won the last time they played at this course. I always look at past performances on the course and he really played well and handled it – his scrambling was superb. He’s also been playing very well and is coming in on fire.
Finally Steve Stricker. I just think his style of golf suits this course well.

CFL Week 5 Betting Picks:
There’s 5 games but I’m not covering Argonauts vs Redblacks as I’ll wait to see how the Alouettes game goes.
They play tonight and I’m going with Alouettes +4.5. It’s been a rocky road for the Redblacks so far and until they can prove to me what they’ve got I’ll take an Alouettes team who is starting to gel.
I’m also on Eskimos -3. They’re plagued with injuries but that just does not seem to be affecting the Edmonton side at all. Gotta back em.
I’m also on Lions -5. They’re consistent and they’re solid and although Lulay starts I think he’ll keep going after last week.
Finally I am taking Roughriders +10. Too many points for a rested squad against a Calgary team who don’t look as good as they used to be.
