It’s been a good start for anyone who followed by golf tips this week. It’s early on but I’m already dreaming of a big pay day with Hudson Swafford at the Sony Open.
We bet him at +8000 or 80/1 and he’s currently in 2nd place. We’ve also got Trevor Fisher Jnr on the European Tour at the same odds who is tied for 7th as I write this and looking like he’s on track for another good day.
Today I’m going to cover the New England Patriots vs Houston Texans game and I’m not touching that bloody point spread – instead I am taking Over 44.5 Points.
I like the Houston Texans to be more competitive. Their defense is a bit better these days however most importantly they know their defense can’t stop the Pats offense. It just can’t. The Patriots offense is lethal and they’re going to be scoring on the majority of drives I expect.
So the Texans know they need to match them on offense. Of course they have their own QB issues and the Pats defense is tough but I do see the Texans being able to score on them. They went up against a sturdy Raiders defense and other than the odd game they’re usually able to keep up with their opponents.
So I’m taking Over 44.5 in that game.
NHL Picks for January 13th, 2017:
Nice schedule tonight of 7 games. 6-7 games is generally ideal I find. Here’s my thoughts on each game:
Capitals vs Blackhawks Betting Tips: The Capitals are playing their best hockey of the season and you can tell they’re preparing for the playoffs with a strong focus on defense. Of course their offense is bloody brilliant as well. They’re going up against the Hawks who have been stuttering a little bit but have 4 wins in a row. I’m in two minds about over 5 goals and Capitals – so I’m going to go for the added value of Capitals in regulation just because of the incredible hockey they’re playing at the moment. However Over 5 is a good bet too as the Blackhawks will be competitive against them. Well that or the Capitals score 6 and put it over by themselves.
Rangers vs Leafs Betting Tips: These two always have good games and I love the way the Leafs are playing. Not sure if they can bounce back with a win after that loss to the Habs and they may be a bit rusty with a week long break, but I’ll back them to be competitive and on fire and put this one Over 5.5 Goals.
Hurricanes vs Sabres Betting Tips: Games between the two are always tight and I could see this one going to overtime. I’ll probably bet that myself but I’d recommend no bet on this one unless you like risky bets like going to overtime. I’d love to see the Canes win here and begin their push for a playoff spot.
Panthers vs Islanders Betting Tips: The Panthers have had troubles at home but I like the odds of 1.76 to beat the Islanders at home. They controlled the Islanders last time they played 2 days ago and I think they can continue to do that. Panthers to win.
Lightning vs Blue Jackets Betting Tips: Tampa Bay are pretty much trash this season. However the Jackets are struggling since the win streak ended and this could be a very tight game. I lean towards the Jackets but I don’t have much confidence in them.
Flames vs Devils Betting Tips: The Devils are playing some flat hockey at the moment but the Flames are a bit inconsistent. I gotta go with thet better team though which is the Calgary Flames.
Coyotes vs Jets Betting Tips: Despite losing Laine the Jets are able to find the net. They got rolled by the Habs but should win here. It’s a risky one though but I’d take Jets in regulation.
