I had my doubts about last night’s action, but James Wade, Wes Newton, Michael van Gerwen and Adrian Lewis didn’t disappoint. The fans in attendance and got their money’s worth, with both matches ending 5-4. The end results saw Wade and Van Gerwen securing the final two spots in the semi-finals.
So that means that James Wade, Michael van Gerwen, Phil Taylor or Raymond van Barneveld is going to be out 2013 PDC World Champion. The only real shock in that line-up is James Wade, but he’s the World No.3, and the only reason it’s a bit of a shock is because of how up and down his year has been. But we’ve got two great semi-finals, with Van Gerwen taking on Wade in the opening contest, and the main event, Phil Taylor taking on old foe Raymond van Barneveld.
