This week in golf we’ve got the British Masters and 3M Open.
The British Masters will probably have started by the time you read this so I will just focus on the 3M Open.
If you do happen to read this beforehand I’ve got a 1u bet on Marc Warren to win and Top 5. What that means is you split a 1u bet over that. If you are in the UK, it’s a win & each-way bet.
Instead I will focus on the 3M Open.
I had big success here at the inaugral 3M Open last year. While I didn’t pick the 125/1 Matthew Wolff to win unfortunately – I did manage to cash with Collin Morikawa for a nice little payout.
$125 is 1u for me so this was a 10.5u Return:
There wasn’t too much jumping at me this week. It was one of those things where it was actually quite conflicted. Almost anyone who showed up in all the advanced metrics that I run unfortunately played here last year and didn’t perform well. Those two conflicts combined with the odds made me stay away.
I did however come up with three betting tips.
As a reminder all of these bets are to win and E/W or to win and Top 5.
It’s from a confidence system of 1-5 units.
My first bet is 3u on Sam Burns at 45/1. I like the form Sam is in right now. Driving distance isn’t something that I consider for this course however he can totally bang it regardless. I think he is a good fit for this course.
I’m also on 2u on Henrik Norlander who is priced at 50/1 odds. Decent price considering the top golfers from the break – he is certainly one of them.
Then it was a tough one but I went with 1u on Charley Hoffman who is 80/1. Old Charley boy probably won’t get there however the odds and how he shows up in the metrics were enough for me to back him.
