The Scottish Cup Final takes place this weekend, featuring Hearts vs Celtic.
Hearts are chasing their lone trophy of the season, while Celtic are going for yet another domestic treble.

Celtic win the league rather convincingly although not with as much space as they have in previous season. As it is Rangers fans – such as myself – will look at this season as a lost opportunity for us as we came so close.
There are a number of games we can look back at and think “if only” in a season where Celtic for the most part seemed to be phoning it in. Alas even at that, they still were able to take the lead.
Hearts had a lot of struggles this season particularly in the second half. They end up 6th place in the Championship group and actually did worse than St Johnstone who topped the relegation group.
In the league, Celtic beat Hearts 3 times this season and beat them in the league cup as well. Hearts did manage to beat Celtic to begin the season with that 1-0 win on August 11th with a goal from big Kyle Lafferty.
How Hearts got to the Scottish Cup Final
Hearts started their Scottish Cup campaign with a 1-0 win at home over fellow SPL side Livingston. In the next round, they had a nice and easy game against the Junior team Auchinleck Talbot, and beat them 4-0 also at home.
The Quarter Finals saw them get another relatively easy game against Partick Thistle at home. They won 2-1 after going down 1-0 early
It wasn’t the most convincing campaign and they got the easier side again with Championship side Inverness Caley. However they ran out 3-0 winners there.
How Celtic got to the Scottish Cup Final:
Celtic thumped league one side Airdrie 3-0 to kickstart their Scottish Cup campaign. They then beat St Johnstone 5-0 in the next round. They finished that up with 2-0 win away to Hibs, then a 3-0 win in the semi finals against Aberdeen.
An extremely impressive set of performances by Celtic who haven’t conceded a goal yet.
Hearts vs Celtic Betting Tips:
I mean it’s just hard to see beyond Celtic for this one. Even on a regular day. However Hearts come in on a brutal run of form. This is a team that just look like they’ve given up.
Celtic meanwhile have been insane in regards of getting here with that defensive record.
Hearts are missing Olly Lee and if they play, Steven Naismith and Uche Ikpeazu won’t be 100%.
Celtic aren’t perfect by any means – we’ve seen quite a few issues over the course of the season and especially against Rangers last time out.
However they’ve proven themselves motivated in the cup, and that clean sheet record is a big thing. Teams would love to keep that going and I like Celtic to do that in this one.
As a Rangers fan I’d love a different result, but….
