It’s NFL time again – as Week 2 of the NFL 2014/2015 season continues and we of course have 3 NFL Betting Tips for you. We’ll get to them soon.
First just a reminder – we have tipped Man Utd -1 today in QPR vs Man Utd in the Barclays Premier League.
Yesterday was a bit of a mixed day, but overall a profitable day.
We won with Celtic vs Aberdeen Over 2.5 goals. Odds on that were 1.80. So +0.80 profit there as the Tims won 2-1 in a tight one.
We also won with Southampton vs Newcastle. We thought that game would be a bit tighter but Southampton just ran riot over Newcastle. Very impressive result. 1.80 odds for that one, to make it 1.6 profit for the day.
We also won with Arsenal vs Manchester City. We had over 2.5 goals in that one, and it was 1.85 odds for that. So a 2.45 profit for that.
Unfortunately we lost two betting tips as well. We had Spurs to beat Sunderland but a late own goal by Kane messed that up. We also had Villa vs Liverpool to end in a draw at 5/1 odds. We did recommend the safe bet as well as Villa or the draw, but we felt it was more valuable to go for the draw. So we would have lost that and make it 0.45 profit for the day. If you bet Villa or Draw however it was a 5/2 price.

NFL Betting Tips: New England Patriots vs Minnesota Vikings
Even before the Adrian Peterson situation we were already leaning towards the Patriots. This just cements that bet.
Patriots will be coming back with a bounce back game – that’s Bradys speciality. And the Vikings D just won’t be able to handle them. Vikings rely heavily on AP obviously, and whether or not he plays he just won’t be the same man. And I’m sure the Pats defense will be just extra motivated to kick him about.
NFL Betting Tips: Arizona Cardinals vs New York Giants
Did Vegas not watch the Giants game last week?
Don’t get me wrong we love Detroit and they are a great team but the Giants offense at the moment is horrendous. Absolutely horrendous, and Eli Manning is not the guy to get a bounce back game.
The funniest thing was Giants were favourites at -2, now they are +2. By game time I wouldn’t be surprised if that goes to +3.5.
This could be a trap play where the Giants walk all over the Cardinals and Vegas laughs. But you can’t think too much about it – Giants are ringing in the changes at the moment, their offense is all over the place – just have to bet against them.
NFL Betting Tips: Detroit Lions vs Carolina Panthers
Lions are our sleeper team of the season and until the books give them more credit, we’ll be backing them.
Panthers do have a great reciever in Kelvin Benjamin, and we’re seeing Newton return.
We like the Lions to win the game outright +120 odds on that. But instead we’d recommend taking the Over. Over 43.5 points in this game feels like a gift.
