It was a 1-1 day on Sunday for a slight loss as Wolves defeated Burnley as predicted, while Everton showed their inconsistency by being the recipients of a 3-1 thumping by West Ham at home.
That was a very disappointing performance by Everton and a deserved win by West Ham. Frustrating one to watch as I had been debating over 2.5 and both teams to score but just didn’t think West Ham had what it takes.
Better performance on Monday in the Finnish Veikkausliiga as we went 2-1 there. HJK Helsinki won 2-0 as predicted. VPS and Ilves went over 2.5 goals at a nice 2.20 odds and that one was easy peasy as it hit 3 goals after just 31 minutes.
Our loss was with FC Inter to defeat TPS with a Draw No Bet stipulation. Caught some of the game and it was quite a dull one. FC Inter seemed to be lacking motivation.
The UEFA Champions League Group Stages kick off on Tuesday, September 18th and I’ll be tipping that this week so let’s get to it. Looking forward to the more staggered scheduling.
Inter Milan vs Tottenham Hotspur Betting Tips:
Neither of these teams are really inspiring at the moment.
Tottenham Hotspur come into this one on the back of a two game losing streak after starting the season off fairly bright. Inter Milan have also started the new season off very poor with just 1 win in 4 games and Parma beat them at home.
It’s always tricky with the Champions League. In theory both these teams should go for it and the win should be very important becaues they have Barcelona in the group and so these two are fighting for second place but you just never know.
I think it has to be competitive though and with both teams defenses not looking the greatest, I’m going to back them both to get on the scoresheet.

Club Brugge vs Borussia Dortmund Betting Tips:
This should be a good game. Brugge have had 7 games in the regular season played already this year with 6 wins and 1 draw which is very impressive. However despite the success domestically they generally struggle on the big stage. They have to be confident going into this one and giving it their all though.
Dortmund have started strong as well and offensively look good. They drew 0-0 once but have scored 7 goals in the other 2 games.
Always concerned about how tight teams may be especially in the openers. But offensively both teams look good.

Galatasaray vs Lokomotiv Moscow Betting Tips:
Lokomotiv Moscow are struggling at the moment domestically while Galatasaray are doing well in the Super Liga. They had a big 4-1 win over Kasimpasa which was huge and they will be coming into this one confident.
I’ve got to think this is their game to lose and will bet accordingly.

Liverpool vs PSG Betting Tips:
Both teams have electric offenses and last season, both teams showed in the Champions League they are all about the goals. Liverpool scored 23 goals in 6 games and PSG scored 25 so you have to expect similar output from these teams.
This should hoepfully be the game of the day.
