It’s September 25th, 2014 and we’ve got a lot of upcoming sports coming up.
In case you missed it, we had a full detailed and comprehensive article providing Ryder Cup 2014 Betting Tips. That was posted late last night, and the Ryder Cup kicks off tomorrow.
Today we have NFL action, and we hope to also continue our ridiculous golf run where we won a 40/1 and 12/1 bet last week. We’re going to be looking at the Nature Valley First Tee Open. The Champions Tour can be bloody tough but we’ll try our best.
NFL: Giants vs Redskins Betting Tips
The Giants go into this one as decent underdogs, with more than a field goal separating the two teams. The Giants are +3.5 and are on the road against the Washington Redskins.
Both teams are 1-2 for the season. The Giants started off the season badly with a 35-14 loss to the Lions, then lost at home to the Cardinals 25-14. They looked a lot better in Week 3 of the NFL however, with a big 30-17 win over the Texans. The Houston defense has looked really solid in past weeks, so that was quite the surprise.
The Redskins LOST to the Texans in Week 1. In week 2 they destroyed the Jaguars and then had a very competitive game against the Eagles.
We’re leaning towards the Giants – but we’re not sold yet. Cousins is looking great and while I’d rate the Giants above the Redskins – you just can’t back Eli Manning and his team yet unfortunately. One week doesn’t prove anything.
We much prefer the over. Cousins has something to prove, and is connecting well with everyone on his team so far. If the Giants offense is improved as they looked last week then they should be able to rack up the points as well.
Golf: Nature Valley First Tee Betting Tips:
With the Ryder Cup going on it’s easy to forget about the Nature Valley Tee at Pebble Beach. This is part of the Champions Tour, and it’s going to be interesting. Davis Love III killed it at Pebble Beach many moons ago and it’ll be very interesting to watch him here now and how he does.
If you’re new to our golf tips here’s how it works – we try and bet 3 different golfers, and we recommend betting them E/W. Generally the odds are going to be high, and these are 3 golfers who we think will finish in the top 5 approximately, hence the E/W bet. Even better of course if they win.
Here are the golfers we are going with:
Kirk Triplett – 16/1: Triplett has won this course twice in a row now. He’s had a bad season but this is a course he always does well on.
Paul Goydos – 18/1: Can Goydos continue his massive win from last week and win here? It’s possible. He is a consistent player and we can see him continuing on here.
Jay Haas – 16/1: Haas has been consistent all year, and he finished it up with a 7th place finish last week. He’s also been in the top 3 at this course 2 out of the last 3 years.
