Tonight we have a very interesting match-up in the NFL as the 3-0 Green Bay Packers host the 1-2 Philadelphia Eagles. This is the worst Eagles start in a few years and a big surprise considering that many people had them as a Super Bowl contender.
Things won’t get any easier for them tonight as they face the undefeated Packers at Lambeau Field, which is always a tough place to play. The story of the Packers has not been Aaron Rodgers and the offense, but the defense. A big part of that has been first year Packer Za’Darius Smith who is leading the NFL in quarterback hurries with 14 and he is also second in disruptions. Carson Wentz and his offensive line are set for a long night.
Rodgers has been his usual solid self, but the offense has underwhelmed early despite the 3-0 start. They’ll need to pick it up a notch if they want to grab a win tonight.

Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers: The Packers defense is yet to allow more than sixteen points in a game this season and they have just been really impressive on defense all around. While Carson Wentz and the Eagles offense is a scary one, I think I have to give the nod to the defense here.
The question becomes Aaron Rodgers and the offense. Davante Adams is looking for a breakout game as he’s been somewhat underwhelming early. Philadelphia is 29th in passing defense, so tonight is a good chance for Rodgers and Adams to connect on some magic.
That defense difference should be all that matters here today and the Packers should continue their hot start.

Chicago Cubs at Pittsburgh Pirates: The Cubs were eliminated from playoff contention last night, but I like them quite a bit here. Jose Quintana goes for the Cubs tonight and he faces this Pirates offense that is well below average against left handed starters. He has a 4.55 ERA/3.87 FIP so he is due for some nice end of the season regression here. The Pirates offense to end the season has been terrible as they are just ready to get this thing over with.
NCAA Football Betting Tips:
Navy at Memphis: This should be a fun match-up between two undefeated teams in the American Athletic Conference West. A victory here could catapult on of these teams into the top-25 rankings so the stakes are pretty high for this one.
This is a real offense vs. defense match-up. Navy are allowing just 8.5 points per game through their first two games. While Memphis’ offense is averaging 489.7 yards per game. The Navy offense is all about the option run and they currently lead the nation at 371.5 yards per game. They will look to control the ball here.
The line on this one is big in favor of Memphis, but I just don’t see them scoring enough points to cover a spread that big. Navy is really going to work to slow this game down and they should make it closer than 12 points.
