In case you missed it, we posted our UFC 178 Betting Tips yesterday.
Also what did we say this week? Giants Defense is a Sleeper in Fantasy Sports, and they did a great job for us. We also said not to draft Kirk Cousins and that worked out well too. Hope you all took advantage of that!
Alright it’s Saturday, September 26th 2014 and we’ve got English Premier League ation. It kicks off early with Liverpool vs Everton, adn then ends late with Arsenal vs Tottenham. A lot of big games and all the big teams are playing like Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea.
Let’s get to the EPL Betting Tips:
EPL: Liverpool vs Everton Betting Tips
You just get the feeling this is going to be a high scoring one don’t you? Everton have had a lot of high scoring games lately, and Liverpool have often found no trouble hitting the net.
So it’s no surprise that the Over/Under of 2.5 goals is at 4/7 odds. Not a surprise there.
Both Teams to Score isn’t worth betting either at 8/15.
We’re going to go with Over 3.5 goals. It’s just one of those games where we look at it and think yep – this one is going to have a lot of goals.
EPL: Chelsea vs Aston Villa Betting Tips
We think this one will be a quiet affair.
Chelsea have had some big league results but also quiet games too. Villa have kept it tight defensively and will be hard to break down – Arsenal match being the odd blip there.
We just like this one to be a close one. Chelsea will take awhile to break down Villa but they’ll get there. However Villa generally don’t have the attack to threaten Chelsea. 1-0 or 2-0 Chelsea we are expecting. Mourinho generally likes to play cautious after taking the lead.
EPL: Man Utd vs West Ham Betting Tips
Here’s the deal; until Man Utd start playing like Man Utd, we are going to be betting against them. It’s just a smart thing to do and is dripping in value.
West Ham just came off a 3-1 thrashing of Liverpool. Utd are of course coming off that embarassing loss to Leicester.
Things just aren’t working out for United right now, and while the bookies continue to hold them in high regard, we’ll continue to bet against them.
The bet you want to make is either West Ham to win, or Draw or West Ham. West Ham to win is 7/1 and Draw or West Ham is 2/1. This is where we’d recommend a mixed bet.
If you bet $100 usually for example – bet $75 on West Ham or Draw, and then $25 on West Ham to win. So 1/4 of a unit on the Hammers to win, and 3/4 on the rest.
