We were so unlucky with the Nature Valley First Tee Open. We had Kirk Triplett, Jay Haas and Paul Goydos all as E/W bets with the top 5 paying. At one point yesterday all three of them were tied for 5th.
Unfortunately all three of them ended up having poor final rounds. Triplett was the best as he ended up tied for 6 – so one off the cash. He was at -7, while Haas was at -6 and Goydos -5.
However it was very close, and good that we were able to get 3 people co close considering their odds were 18/1, 16/1 and 16/1. Would have been sick for all 3 of them to cash.
On October 2nd we will have the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in the European tour, and the Reignwood LPGA Classic. We will have betting tips for both of those on either Tuesday or Wednesday.
We went 2-1 with the NFL Picks. It would have been 3-0 except for 1 extra freaking point in the Cowboys vs Saints game.
Also not sure if anyone watches NFL AM but I swear they have a grudge against Erin Coscarelli. First they get her to ask “Is Romo back?” just so the male hosts can all lambast her for saying he was gone in the first place. Then she points out he only trains 2 days a week and they’re like “Yeah that’s when EVERYONE trains – that’s when you get the bulk of the training done”. All it needed was a DUH! at the end of it. Weird to see that.

NFL: Patriots vs Chiefs Betting Tips
Patriots go into this one as slight favourites. The point spread is -3, but the odds favour them as they’re +105 at that price. The Chiefs are +3 and -125.
The Chiefs got off to a bad start, but turned it around last week with a 34-15 win over the Dolphins. Patriots interestingly enough LOST to the Dolphins on opening day, but have since got wins over the Vikings and the Raiders.
Patriots have looked fairly inconsistent, but they’re going against a rather beaten up team who will be hoping Jameel Charles can show why he was such a big draft pick this week.
Talking of the top players – everything we are hearing is good news for the Pats this week in regard to Gronk. He is feeling a lot better and would be huge for the Patriots.
We think the Gronkowski news is great for the Patriots, and with him as a healthy option they can do the business.
EPL: Stoke vs Newcastle Betting Tips
Very easy to go with Stoke. Newcastle are still a team in trouble, and they managed to scrape a 2-2 draw against Hull and scraped through in the league cup against Palace but they’re not convincing. Stoke can be lethal from many areas and played a great game against QPR in that 2-2 draw.
At home, we think 23/20 is a solid price for Stoke where at worst they should be a coinflip.
