Man Utd got the win as expected and tipped on Sunday. Alas the game didn’t go over but hey it was still profit and I’ll take that every day.
Not too much going on for Tuesday, September 4th. I’m going to look through the English National League and make a few picks. Most are stat based with a bit of opinion thrown in as it’s early days in that league with 8 games played by all teams.
Let’s get to it:
Wrexham vs Halifax Town Betting Tips:
Top of the table clash here with Wrexham leading the league and Halifax Town joint 2nd. Halifax Town have a perfect home record but have struggled away. They’ll be happy with a draw here no doubt.
Both teams have excellent defenses although also top offenses however I think defense wins out.
Wrexham have been very solid defensively at home and I just see this being a tight affair. I was initially going to go with under 2.5 goals however the odds are only 1.70 and I am going to go with Wrexham to win instead as my concern was something like a 2-1 result for Wrexham to put it over.

Hartlepool vs Barrow Betting Tips:
Hartlepool come into this on the back of four wins and they are looking to make it 5. They started poor in the league but have now really got clicking going against a Barrow team who have lost 3 out of 4 on the road.
Salford and Maidstone are two of the teams Barrow lost to and neither of them are looking too hot. Barrow are scoring the goals but conceding too many and that will be an issue as they go to on form Hartlepool.
I like Hartlepool to make it 5 in a row here as they put pressure on the top teams.

That’s it for me for this one. I was tempted by Boreham Woods but you have to wonder if it’s only a matter of time before Chesterfield really get clicking. They’ve been pretty solid defensively and Boreham struggle to score so I can’t advise that one.
Enjoy the football.
