Whew – what a day yesterday. We went with 3 Champions Hockey League Betting Tips, and by luck managed to win all 3 of them. Can’t complain about that eh?
I know a lot of you aren’t fans of the CHL – but it’s one of those leagues or sporting events where you feel the bookies don’t give it that much attention – and there’s plenty to take value out of it. And we did that with all three betting tips yesterday.
We had Over 5.5 goals in Frolunda Gothenburg vs Geneva-Servette matchup, and that one went to a whopping 10 goals with Frolunda defeating Geneve-Servette 7-3 for a nice easy win.
We also had Sparta Praha vs Vaxjko Lakers HC to go over and oops – it did again! Finally we went with Stavangers Oilers with the +1.5 handicap. We hoped they would keep it close and they did, forcing a shootout where they lost by 1 – and thus won us the bet.
We also had an NFL pick yesterday, in the Green Bay Packers vs Seattle Seahawks game. And wouldn’t you know it? We won there too! We took the Seahawks -6, although I’m not sure if it was as much as their defensive performance, or just Aaron Rodgers having a bad, bad night. You could see how frustrated he was throughout the game, and obviously losing Eddie Lacy didn’t help.
We’ve got a busy weekend of sports with UFC and Bellator tonight. Saturday is actually quite quiet, then Sunday we have something….what is it? Oh yes – NFL!!!! Can’t wait.

Bellator Betting Tips: Patricio Freire vs Pat Curran
This is for the Bellator Featherweight Championship, of which Pat Curran is the current holder.
Both these gys have KO Power. Freire going into this one has 3 KOs in his last 4 fights. Curren also has quite a few KOs going back over his last 5 or 6 fights, as well as submission victories. Based on all that, we feel there is about a 55% chance this fight doesn’t go to a decision.
Betting odds for Over 4.5 rounds is a weak -165, while Under 4.5 rounds is a healthy +135 and we think there is nice value there on a line that should be about -105.
UFC Fight Night 50 Betting Tips:Matt Mitrione vs Derrick Lewis
Surprise here with Mittrione the underdog at +140 odds. Derrick Lewis has looked good, but Mitrione is also very solid. What’s more important is Mitrione is looking great. Looking at him throughout the week I don’t think I’ve seen him healthier. He’s not as big and bulky, and fitness and cardio has clearly been a big thing for him.
We like Mitrione to take this one. Lewis has looked like he doesn’t have the cardio, and Mitrione has clearly focused on having his cardio up.
UFC Fight Night 50 Betting Tips: Joe Lauzon vs Michael Chiesa
Chiesa is a good fighter, but Lauzon is still very talented. Lauzon has sat out for 9 months as he last fought in December. This is going to be a battle, and in what we feel is a 50/50 battle you always take the one with the higher odds.
