For Sunday, June 27th we’ve got a whole host of Serie A games. 6 in all. A nice busy day in Italy.
As Serie A is just starting back, it’s a bit hard to do many tips with confidence.
However it’s a league I do want to get reacquainted with. Had a good amount of success with Serie A this season prior to COVID-19.
So I am going to run through each game and have a glance and see if there is anything worth betting.
Let’s get to it:
Serie A Betting Tips – June 28th, 2020:
Milan vs Roma: The odds for this one are fairly even. Both teams have played one game since returning. Milan thumped Lecce 4-1 and Sampdoria lost to Roma 2-1. They played earlier in the season and Roma won 2-1. Milan were racked with inconsistency this season. Honestly if Milan can build on that then good for them but I think Roma are the better team here and Milan missing Zlatan is hard. Dzeko looks to be on fire. 2u on Roma DNB – 1.83 odds.
Napoli vs SPAL: Napoli returned from the break with a 2-0 victory over Verona. SPAL lost to Cagliari 1-0. Napoli are basically just trying to protect that 6th place spot at the moment and anything else is a bonus. SPAL will no doubt be relegated. I’m staying away from this one but Napoli to win to nil is the one I was leaning towards.
Sampdoria vs Bologna: Sampdora have played and lost twice since being back but that was 2-1 losses to Roma and Inter Milan. Bologna are in a similar boat in that they lost to Juventus on their return. I like that Sampdoria have scored in each game and Bologna are one of the better xG teams in the league. With both teams having poor defense, I’m going to go 3u on Both Teams to Score at 1.70 odds.
Sassuolo vs Verona: Verona lost to Napoli in their last game although had returned with a 2-1 win over Cagliari. Sassuolo had that fun 3-3 game with Inter after that loss to Atalanta. Verona are still batting for a European spot although they have a murderers row of teams above them. I think Verona can pull off the win here but don’t feel confident enough to even do Verona DNB as it’s one of those weird games wihere all the attack and defense metrics can cancel each other out.
Udinese vs Atalanta: It was a good return for Atalanta who showcased their goalscoring abilities with victories over Sassuolo and Lazio. Udinese continue to struggle and just can’t score. I like Atalanta to cover the handicap. I’m going with 0.5u on Atalanta -1 at 2.20 odds meaning they must win by two.
Parma vs Inter Milan: Inter are favourites here however they haven’t been amazing or anything following the break. Parma have been solid. Inter will miss out on having Skriniar with this one although Parma are missing Iacoponi which will hurt. I’m leaning towards Parma or Draw here but can’t pull the trigger on a team with Inters abilities.
