Today we’ll have a quick look at Sundays football.
The big game in name value at least is in England, where league leaders Liverpool aim to keep their unbeaten record as they host Man Utd. Man Utd haven’t been too shabby lately but their away form is still poor and Liverpool just seem like a well oiled machine. Can’t see any bets there really.
Let’s get right into the betting tips with three games I want to cover:
Burnley vs Leicester Betting Tips:
Burnley come into this one on the back of a 4 game losing streak where they have scored j just once. Prior to that they had tight 1-0 wins over Bournemouth and Newcastle.
They will be missing Ashley Barnes again. The striker is responsible for 6 of their 24 goals so far this season and will be a big loss.
Leicester are coming in off that surprise loss to Southampton. Maybe a wee bit of complacency there but maybe also a case of Southampton just performing very well. They’re now 3rd in the EPL and will be motivated here.
It looks like Wes Morgan may miss out for them again.
Burnley are in a bit of a downward spiral at the moment. Leicester are interesting as Rodgers has felt they were over performing all season and now you have to wonder if that is going to be “righted”. Thing is ie’s sort of right – if you go by xPTS then Leicester are 5th which is still pretty damn good.
Leicester need a kick up the backside and Rodgers is the guy I trust for that.

Bologna vs Verona Betting Tips:
I’ve said it here before but each week in Italy I am always looking at Bologna. Going by xPTS they are top 5 in the league and have been all season long. It says something about the team that they can beat Atalanta as well as Napoli away but then get thumped by Sassuolo etc.
I’m always looking for little spots where I can back them. This is one of those spots. Verona are coming in on a three gmae unbeaten run that has seen them move into the top 10. Actually their results lately are excellent. I just look at this and think this is one of those games that Bologna can click and get the win.

Genoa vs Roma Betting Tips:
Tight one but I think there is value in Roma returning to business as usual.
Two brutal home losses to Torinto and Juventus. That has been hard for them to handle as they sit in 5th in the table now. Not good.
Genoa are one of those teams that are underperforming and can be tough. However to put it simply Roma are a much better team than them and should be able to take this one.
