It was a 1-1 day for a miniscule profit on January 3rd. We had an 0.5u play on Valladolid to win. They drew 2-2 with Leganes. We had under 2.5 goals in Sevilla vs Athletic Bilboa and that one came in as they drew 1-1.
We had 0.5u on Bradford to win then 1u on Draw or Bradford and the draw won out for a slight profit. That was a very lucky one as Bradford needed a goal in the 89th minute to tie it up. Unfortunately we had a brutal loss with Colchester who even against 10 men, could not beat Stevenage. That was frustrating as Colchester had 24 shots with 10 on target and 68% of the possession. Just one of those games where variance wasn’t our friend.
There’s a bunch of Serie A action taking place on Monday, January 6th so we’ll look into that again:
Bologna vs Fiorentina Betting Tips:
I wrote about Bologna a fair bit during the xPTs betting system tips. They were always highly ranked there and it suggested they were a much better team than their league position suggested. We’re seeing that now as they have won 3 of their last 4 with only a tough loss to AC Milan in there.
Fiorentina come in struggling having not won in their last 7 matches. Bologna are in a good spot to move up the table with a win.
Bologna will be missing Mitchell Dijiks for this game.
Fiorentina sacked Vincenzo Montella and replaced him with Beppe Iachini. This will be his first match in charge and the bookies are expecting some new manager syndrome here as Bologna are not too heavily favoured to win.
Despite that I think Bologna have been playing well and that they can continue to do so. I like them to get the win here.

Napoli vs Inter Milan Betting Tips:
I’m looking forward to this clash.
Top of the league Inter Milan take on 8th place Napoli. Napoli were on a bad run but just prior to the break were able to lock in a win over Sassuolo.
They’ll look to continue that as they take on Inter Milan who are on a 10 match unbeaten streak. Inter have not lost at all on the road this season.
When these two met last season Napoli had a big 4-1 win over Inter but they are a changed side now. However Napoli have a good record against Inter historically. You have to go back to 1997 when Inter had Ronaldo and Youri Djorkaeff for the last time Inter won here.
Gattuso is managing just his third match for Napoli here.
I think Inter Milan are just too good and they will break their bad run against Napoli. Honestly the draw is probably the better bet to make, however when I get a price like this on Inter Milan I’ve just got to take it.
