A good start for the xPTs system as it went 2-1 with predictions of Watford and Norwich to win in the EPL. Lost with the Bologna road win though. Sassuolo whooped them unfortunately.
A 1-1 day for a profit in the EPL with my riskier bet of Spurs vs Sheffield Utd being a draw panning out. That was a nervy one but glad I took it. The loss was Newcastle to draw. They WERE able to carry that momentum after all though so props to Newcastle for that.
Very disappointing outing in the SPL with a 1-3 record. Ross County/Aberdeen BTTS = No was up after just 10 minutes. In saying that, Ross County scored off a penalty then couldn’t score the rest of the game so it was just bad luck there.
Killie were a disaster against Hamilton. Had them -1.5 and they were down 2-0 after 10 minutes. Even with Hamilton having a man sent off they could only rustle up the draw. Very disappoint performance from Kilmarnock there.
St Johnstone to beat Hibs was way way off as Hibs thrashed them 4-1. Our lone win in the SPL was Hearts to win and they delivered with a great 5-2 win over St Mirren. Getting Craig Levein out might be a game changer for Hearts.
Let’s look at tomorrows Serie A action:
Cagliari vs Fiorentina Betting Tips:
Solid clash between two teams who are performing well. Cagliari are 6th in Serie A and Fiorentina are 9th. Cagliari are on a 9 game unbeaten streak and will be looking to stretch that to 10. Other than that Lazio loss, Fiorentina also have an impressive record lately.
For me though – it’s about the schedule. Fiorentina haven’t had the toughest schedule while Cagliari have had the likes of Napoli, Roma and Atalanta during this span. Crazy they are doing so well when they are without Alessio Cragno and Leonardo Pavoletti.
Fiorentina will be missing Franck Ribery again.
I’ve got to think Cagliari can keep their run going. The xPTS system actually favours Fiorentina here overall though so I’ll do a small bet. The bookies favouring Fiorentina too has me concerned.

Udinese vs SPAL Betting Tips:
SPAL are bottom of Serie A while Udinese are 14th.
Udinese have been very inconsistent this season. However they come in on the back of a win over Genoa and hope to build on that. SPAL are really quite piss poor although can pull off the odd surprise like that draw against Napoli.
Udinese have a 50% win record at home while SPAL have lost every away game thus far this season.
Udinese of course don’t have a manager after firing Igor Tudor but the team responded well to Luca Gotti with that win over Genoa.
I really fancy Udinese here to continue to play for the caretaker manager.
