Today I will cover the big UEFA Europa League final match, which takes place on Friday August 21st, 20202.
It features Sevilla vs Inter Milan.
I won’t go crazy with a preview or anything because I mean you can read it anywhere else. This is all about figuring out what the best bet to make during the Sevilla vs Inter Milan game is.
Let’s get right in:
Sevilla vs Inter Milan Betting Tips:
It’s taken Sevilla a lot of games from the group states to get here. They were stuttering at the end of it all however following the group stages, drawign 1-1 with CFR Cluj away then drawing 0-0 at home to barely scrape through.
Post pandemic world, it’s all been different. They beat Roma 2-0, Wolves 1-0, then beat Man Utd 2-1 with Man Utd only being able to score a penalty. Their domestic form mirrors that. 5 clean sheets in their last 6 games. Extremely impressive.
Inter Milan had a perfect Europa League record with three clean sheets. They beat a tough Leverkusen team and thumped Shakhtar to get here.
They weren’t quite able to grasp the Serie A title from Juventus, however finished strong which is all you can ask.
Sevilla will be feeling confident considering they have beaten Roma and last year beat Lazio twice in the Europa League. Italian clubs die against Sevilla it seems.
Injury wise, Sevilla will be sweating Lucas Ocampos. He got injured in the game against Man Utd however is expected to be back.
For Inter I don’t expect any chances although Alexis Sanchez might be in.
I backed Inter to beat Shakhtar and I like them to do it again. Like I said back then – Inter just look like they are really taking this seriously and the more motivated team. Losing the Serie A Title hurt them and they are out to win the Europa League as some form of retributiion. A motivated Inter team? I’d never back against them.
On top of that, you have Lukaku and Martinez who are really clicking.
Sevilla are a great team however from what I have seen from Inter Milan they will be bringing their A+ game here which is all they need. I just love the way Inter play.
It’s a 3-5-2 and when out of possession they go to a more cautious 5-3-2 where every man is covering. Watch the way they play. When the ball is on the left, you’ll see Barella pressing. Every single time, D’Ambrosio is stepping in there to back up. They play like a well oiled machine. Occasionally D’Ambrosio will be in a better position and will do the pressing and it’s just handled in such a natural way.
