Alrighty – the stupid international break is over, and we’re back with weekend football.
Last time out it was a win with Tottenham to beat Burnley. Nice solid victory for them in that one.
Put us to a 5-5 record for +1.03u. Nice to bounce back after that 1-3 week the week prior.
International break can be weird. Can kill teams momentum, can kill my own momentum from a betting tips POV so going in a bit cautious. Let’s see what we got this weekend.
Aston Villa Over 1.5 Goals @ 1.83 Odds
Villa are playing Crystal Palace. They put up decent results over Everton and Burnley, and have a solid goalscoring record at home.
Palace aren’t exactly leaking goals but Wolves were able to put 2 past them last time out. This should be a competitive game with both teams feeling they can win. I’m not super confident in the Palace offense hence why staying away from over 2.5.
Definitely a concern that Palace will play for a point but I feel Villa should be able to break them down enough. Hopefully an early goal which will open things up.
Tottenham Hotspur -1.5 @ 1.72
Not the greatest odds on it but Spurs are looking electric on offense. While I’m not as confident on them defensively, Sheffield Utd I am hoping won’t be able to pose enough of a challenge.
My only real concern here is the international break hurting Spurs momentum, but have to think Ange won’t let that happen.
For Mondays game, strongly debating Forest at 2.20 odds although will wait till closer to game time.
