Sorry for no tips yesterday – a wee bit of a Super Bowl hangover going on there ha.
It was a 2-0 day on Sunday with the Serie A. I expected Juventus to get a big won over Fiorentina and went with Juventus -1.5. it took a little bit there as we had to rely on two penalties by Ronaldo, but they eventually ran out 3-0 winners.
We also had AC Milan / Verona Both Teams To Score. No sweat on that one as both teams had scored within 29 minutes and that was where it ended at 1-1.
Been awhile since I covered the Scottish Premier League. Let’s get back to that this week:
Aberdeen vs St Johnstone Betting Tips:
Aberdeen are currently 4th in the league and are coming into this one off the back of a big 0-0 draw against Rangers.
That one was at away too. While Aberdeen haven’t won in 4 games they still have three points in there all taken from away.
Their goalscoring has been an issue for them lately though as they haven’t scored in three games. Their last goal was against Hearts with a great free kick by Niall McGinn. That was good for them to see as their xG for goals from set pieces is quite low.
St Johnstone will be missing Liam Gordon for this clash.
Aberdeen have been off form quite a bit lately however their home form overall this season has been excellent. St Johnstone play quite tight defensively away and that has worked out for them with some tight wins over Hamilton and Hearts.
Initially I was leaning towards Aberdeen to get the win here however the way things have been for both teams, as well as St Johnstones recent solid away defensive performances, I could see this being very tight. Under 2.5 goals is at 1.61 which isn’t worth a play but I think BTTS = No is fine.

Hearts vs Kilmarnock Betting Tips:
Hearts were one of those teams that when you looked at the xG data you had a feeling they could be doing better. They come into this one on the back of a 4 game unbeaten streak (granted with just the one win) however and I think they can build on that.
Kilmarnock are a good way above them in the league but I think Hearts can pull off a surprise. They have been showing a lot of fight lately and Killie are quite poor away.
Hearts are coming in off that late smash and grab point and that will give them a lot of confidence.
Hearts are going to get a boost with Michael Smith coming back. Marcel Langer could play as well.
Kilmarnock have had some real struggles offensively and even though they got that win over Ross County, I think Hearts have what it takes to steal this one.
