The end of NFL week 3 is tonight as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bucanneers are looking to add to their undefeated run while the Steelers are still looking for their first win at 0-1-1. This game currently sits at a PK with a total of 54.
The big news for this one is no news as Le’Veon Bell continues his holdout. The latest news has the Steelers listening to trade offers on him. He”d be a big boost to any team as he’s been one of the most versatile backs in the game over the past few seasons. Why the Steelers don’t want him back is anyone’s guess, but for some teams in the NFL paying a player what they are worth is simply out of the question. What’s best for the team isn’t always best for business and we know who wins in that equation.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Betting Tips:
The story of the young season has been Ryan Fitzpatrick. The Harvard graduate and journeyman quarterback has stepped in while Jameis Winston was suspended and effectively stolen his job. He has eight touchowns (plus one rushing TD) and 819 yards passing in just two weeks. Those are monster, monster numbers and it’ll be interesting to see if he can continue that here. The Steelers defense has a strong reputation, but they were just shredded by Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs for six touchdowns last week.
For the Steelers, everything is a mess right now. No Bell, Antonio Brown is screaming on the sidelines and Ben Roethlisberger seemingly asserting control over the offense; things are in a bit of chaos right now. They are passing way too much to have a balanced offense.
It’s only been two weeks, but both of these teams have really lacked a good defensive presence and touchdowns have come easily. They both loved to pass and this could turn into a real Old West style shootout. I love this over.

That said, the offense I trust right now and the team that I am backing tonight is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There are too many red flags around the Steelers and their inability to trust the run game makes them very predictable and prone to turnovers. I think Fitzpatrick has some more magic left in his arm and the Bucs take this one.
MLB Betting Tips:
One MLB game on the slate tonight is really sticking out to me and it’d kill me not to mention it here. We have the Phillies and Rockies at Coors Field and the line is set big thanks to that setting. Only problem is, neither of these team deserve it. Zach Eflin is a good pitcher and the Rockies are terrible against righties. Tyler Anderson is a good pitcher and the Phillies are terrible against lefties. This is easy money, don’t let the Coors Field scare you. Good starters, good bullpens, bad offenses. Go under.
