While the Barclays Premier League and most of the other soccer is off due to the international break – we’ve still got a full day of sports on hand.
As I’m typing this we’re all busy watching the Rangers vs the Senators in the early NHL game.
We’re also glued to the OHL Classic where Jason Bohn has managed to get the lead! We’re cheering him on as we bet him to win and that would be really bloody nice!
The BMW Masters concludes overnight and we’ll try and stay up late for that. We’re down to Fitzpatrick and Rose for a cash and they’re just a few strokes away so if either getse a good game then we’re good to go.
We’ve got college football today, NHL and NBA. Such a wonderful way to spend a Saturday. And if that wasn’t enough, we’ve got UFC 193: Rousey vs Holm this evening as well.

UFC 193 Betting Tips:
Take Ronda Rousey to win in round 1. We already would have tipped that anyway but we’re going to be tipping it with even more money after the weigh-ins.
Holly Holm just isn’t suited for MMA. That’s why they have rushed her into this fight with Ronda Rousey – because they know she’s marketable both due to her looks and her boxing ability, and they can play up the boxing skills she has. We’re just being honest here – Ronda is going to absolutely destroy her like she destroys everyone else.
Usually we throw a bet on the underdog at +1135 odds “just in case” – I mean it is UFC after all. But yeah – not with this one.
Take Mark Hunt to beat Bigfoot. Hunt can take a punch as he has proven many, many times. Yes he has two TKOs against him going into this one but he can take out Bigfoot. Silva just isn’t the same now he is off the drugs and while he got that win over Palelei we don’t think he stands a chance here. Hunt looks in great shape.
Finally for the main card take the underdog Jared Rosholt over Stefan Struve. Since the heart issues Struve really hasn’t looked like the same fighter. Rosholt is someone who has got a few late finishes and can keep going all the way to the bell and we expect him to do that here.
NHL Betting Tips:
We’ll go with Boston Bruins to beat the Red Wings. Wings lost last night and will be tired going up against the Bruins. Boston playing at him and they lost last time here so they want to give everyone to cheer for. Bruins should take that one.
Also going to take Montreal Canadiens in Regulation over the Avalanche. The Habs were very unlucky in their game vs the Penguins. They also saw how their backup reacts in shootouts and they don’t bloody want that again. As a bonus – Landeskog is suspended for this one and that’s a big loss. We just can’t see any other result except a solid victory for the Montreal Canadiens.
