There’s a lot of hype going for UFC 205 – understandably – but don’t forget about UFC 204 which takes place this weekend.

UFC 204 is quite an interesting event because it takes place beginning at 3am in Manchester, England. A lot of people are wondering how the crowd will be – but you have to wonder about the fighters as well.

Along with the usual weight cuts and training etc they’ll also have to adjust their sleep schedules fairly drastically for this event. Makes things interesting.

UFC 204 is headlined by Michael Bisping defending the Middleweight Title for the first time as he faces off again against Dan Henderson. Also on the card is Vitor Belfort vs Gegard Mousasi, and Ovince Saint Preux and Stefan Struve will both be in action.

Should be a good card – let’s get to the betting tips:

UFC 204 Betting Tips:

First let me state that I absolutely love Michael Bisping and I hope he wins this fight. In saying that I think there’s a lot of value in Dan Henderson. Henderson is a whopping +205 odds at https://www.Bovada.lv right now but I’m going to go for some additional odds of Henderson by TKO/KO which you can get for +272, an extremely good price.

The fact is that Henderson still has that KO power and he’s still a solid fighter. We saw that earlier this year against Hector Lombard. He’s not lost that KO strength. Henderson still has the ability to knock Bisping out with one punch and much like Bisping took out Rockhold, the same could happen here. Just great value this one.

I’d expect Mousasi to absolutely kill Vitor Belfort. Jacare handled Belfort with ease and I expect the same here. The odds don’t make it worth betting – and honestly with Belfort now in the +285 range depending on the book (check the sportsbooks linked below for comparison) I think I’d actually have to place a small bet on Belfort. I think he JUST has a slight value here.

One thing you might want to do is a parlay of Mousasi winning inside the distance and Bisping/Henderson not doing the distance where you can get it for +115 odds.

I think there is some nice value on the underdog Jimi Manuwa in his fight against Ovince Saint Preux. I mean Manuwa deserves respect just for lasting a round with Rumble. He hasn’t fought for awhile due to an injury so that’s a concern. However he is an extremely talented fighter and has shown some lethal skills in the UFC. I also wonder how OSP will be with the title match hangover and hell just how that fight went in general.

To me Stefan Struve still remains that guy who could be amazing but just isn’t. He got a win over Bigfoot nice and easy in May but is that really an accomplishment anymore? I haven’t been impressed by him since his last fight in England where he took out Stipe. OmielaƄczuk has some nice value and he is someone that just keeps coming at you.
