Always nice to have a big UFC card taking place and that’s what we have tomorrow night.

UFC 241 takes place on August 17th, 2019 from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

The main event is for the Heavyweight title featuring Daniel Cormier vs Stipe Miocic II. The co-main event is Anthony Pettis vs the returning Nate Diaz.

We’ve also got the likes of Yoel Romero and Derek Brunson in action.

I’m looking forward to it.

Let’s get to the betting tips:

UFC 241 Bets:

In the main event, I’m taking the underdog Stipe Miocic to defeat Daniel Cormier.

I feel that Cormier is going into this one with a rather messed up mind, having watched his media interviews the last few days. He’s always looked at this one as his retirement fight, however he knows that Jon Jones is lurking. Not only is that one last payday, but it’s a chance to wipe out the only blemish on his otherwise incredible career.

With all that going on, I just don’t think his head is in the game. I also think Stipe was looking better in their fight and the only issue is one punch can end it. I’m happy rolling the dice here on Miocic to get the win.

Nate Diaz vs Anthony Pettis is a crazy one. I mean Diaz has been out for three years and you’d have to think that would affect him. But then it’s Diaz. He’s a fighter. It’s what he does.He still remains healthy. Pettis meanwhile hasn’t won back to back fights in awhile.

Personally I wouldn’t bet it as the odds are too close but if you must, take Diaz.

My favourite bet of the main card is Yoel Romero to win. I can’t believe the odds on this one are so close. Costa is going to be 12-1 after this one. I don’t want to be rude but his UFC fights aren’t the most impressive victories and now he is going up against the Soldier of God? Honestly go with Romero via KO for better odds.

Looking at the prelims where the value is usually to be found, I think Casey Kenney is a decent bet. He’s a solid fighter and I think he is going to be a big challenge for Bermudez. It’s easily Mannys biggest fight to date and it’s going to be a tough one for him. I’ve seen improvements from Kenny such as his cardio and I think he continues to improve and take this one.

Unfortunately that’s all I see for value on the undercard. I’m slightly tempted by Sabrina Mazo but not enough to back her. I did not enjoy her fight against Moroz. She’s better than that but that one concerns me.

If you’re looking for any undercard action, I’d advise betting the favourites in a parlay.
