UFC On ESPN+19 takes place this Saturday.
Holy crap has there really been 19 of these events already?
There’s been issues with Joanna Jędrzejczyk and whether she would make weight ot not but luckily she did. Everyone made weight which was nice.
This event is also known as UFC Fight Night: Joanna vs Waterson and UFC Fight Nigh 161. It amuses me greatly that they list it as “Joanna”. Can’t remember the last time that they listed first names for that.
Anyhoo it should be a solid card. It’s from the Amalie Arena in Tampa. Lot of potentially good fights.
Let’s get to the betting tips:

I’d love to bet against Joanna but I just can’t. even with all the drama involving weigh-ins, I just don’t rate Michelle Waterson enough.
Kron Gracie should win. He’s not a lock by any means. If Cub is able to bring his A+ game he could actually win this one. Kron Gracie has his issues. However all Gracie needs is to get his hands on him. We’ve seen it before the dude is a beast. He’ll most likely win by submission so with the odds not being great for him to win at -170, I’d recommend Gracie by submission at +100.
I think there is a chance of an undercard win with Amanda Ribas. Not for sure but I think there is a chance she is able to end Mackenzies winning streak. It’s amazing Mackenzie actually made weight for this fight. I liked what I saw from Amanda in her debut and Mackenzie is just a weird performer. Almost as if her heart isn’t in it at times. I’d maybe place a small bet on Amanda.
I like Erik Anders to take out GM3. This should be a fun fight. It’s tough to bet against Meerschaert at times as we often see Jekkyl and Hyde performances from him. However Anders is a smart fighter and I like him to take this one via decision.
Looking at the prelims for value, it’s quite tricky. I kind of like the +315 Andrew Sanchez. He’s coming in off the back of a couple of wins and looks to be a more methodical fighter. His issue of course is his cardio but I do rate him as the better fighter. Vettori is aggressive and may gas himself out. Vettori also fought recently so there is a good chance he tires and Sanchez can take this one.
I also like Andre Ewell to win at +140 odds approximately and +130 is fine as well. Vera is a solid fighter but I like what i have seen from Ewell. The only real issue is if Vera goes for the takedowns. Ewell just can’t seem to defend them. However I think he can do enough to stuff them and win the stand up, and hopefully be able to get the win here.
That’s all I really see for this card. It’s a tricky one and no-one else I really want to bet on.
